Came here for a tops RIP night and out of all the events that I will see going on at this place probably had the worst. Came here they give you basic cards and there was almost no interaction with the kids. Would've been nice if they help you get the kids some more support to like collecting cards. read more

Came through town and stopped here to check out the store. Great selection of sports. Owner was nice. Small section of non-sports (and some Star Wars which is what I PC). Great to see hobby boxes but comps were a little high so didn't grab anything. Great selection of old wax so got a couple of packs. The employee was very nice. Love this place! Right down the street from where I live and I stop by often to grab a pack or a case of cards. The guys that work there have always been friendly and helpful. Every interaction I've seen with kids they've always had a HUGE smile on their face, usually from getting a free card or two. The guys that work there are knowledgeable and helpful. I don't even know where to begin with this place... I had a few bad experiences years ago so thought I'd try it again, nope nothing has changed it just seems to be that awful card shop I don't recommend. I walked in and look at all their cards, which were heavily overpriced. I asked to look at one box but was told, " I'll pull this box out but only if you buy something because I don't want to waste my time." Red flag right away. I looked at about 3 cards until he yelled he was closed so I should finish up what I'm doing. I put everything away and immediately walked about because that is not how you should ever talk to someone. If you want to go and experience a shop to pay for something overpriced, be talked down to, experience rudeness at its finest, and overall just help keep a business alive then go here. I say avoid at all costs. Time and time again it's failed better luck going to other local shops or online. read more

i've been hesitant to try this place for years now, admittedly due to the negative reviews here. i am glad i decided to just stop by anyways...because i had nothing but a great experience at this little local card shop. it's small but has a great selection of singles, packs, blaster/mega boxes, and a good variety of series and years for all sports. i didnt find things too overly priced, like previously mentioned in other reviews, and even if I did end up paying a couple bucks more I don't mind because I'm supporting the local shop and not some corporate retailer. it definitely is not the spot for mr. high end card dealer (who left the other review), but if you are just a kid (or a grown kid such as myself) and looking to just open some packs or get a couple cards of your favorite player? it's a perfect spot and have plenty to offer. read more

A truly bizarre card experience. I am an expert collector and not someone who inherited junk wax and doesn't understand. Immediately walking into this place you can see all the singles within a minute. I could go to any popular card show in the area and find a young teenager with a little black box, pull a card out that would be worth these fools entire show case. He doesn't want to buy $300 cards for $200 because "he can't move Patrick Mahomes cards." What it bizarrely seems to come down to is if this guy can't see a base card style trend with hundreds of comps nickel and dime stuff, it's like he's scared and doesn't know what to do. I remember he has one Herbert numbered to like /60 (YAWN) and in capital letters on the card it said NUMBERED! (Complete with exclamation). It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. (It's funny too) My advice? Take a trip down the freeway to Burbank get a consultation with Rob and he can literally show you how to do you job. (Trust me everyone there knows your reputation it's not a surprise dude!) Get help and learn your craft. read more

Wow. Just Wow.. I have no idea how he is still in business. I met the owner but dont know his name because he didnt introduce himself. He seemed to not know too much about card values. I dont want to call someone rude. I think the owner (whatever his name is) needs to take some tips from his employees on customer service. I was starting to be a regular in the shop and yes, overpaying a bit on some packs but after my encounter with the Boss I will not be going any longer. I guess it has been working for him all these years. It doesnt work for me. For potential new customers, the owner just wants you to buy and get out. If you want to get informed the owner Brian will tell you to inform yourself. For any regulars of this place, go to other shops or research prices because you're getting taken advantage of. Owner of this store "Brian" is rude and unhelpful not to mention that everything is overpriced. Recently got back into the hobby and visited to pick the brain of the owner in order to be a more savvy collector. Owner dodged questions and basically said he's been in business for 20 years and still doesn't know anything about the industry. He also told me to research the questions myself because I had the same access to information he did. At that point I was kind of speechless. I did end up saying that he was right but if you don't know what your looking for it can be intimidating. His response was to basically just keep throwing money at buying cards until I figure it out. To top it all off in the middle of the conversation he straight up says I'm gonna leave now but my employee will help you and goes to the back room. I was shocked by how he made it seem how informing and helping a potential new customer was beneath him and not worth his time. I will say that the employee who helped me was much younger was way more helpful. He seemed to try and make up for my encounter with Brian. Ended up buying a few packs just because he was helpful and to thank him for his time. Obviously will not go back though as I found another place that doesn't have an owner that treats their customers poorly. The smaller employee came from behind the counter and stared at us with his arms crossed as if we were going to take something. Ok so I called this shop and told them I had inherited a baseball call collection, don't know what is there but it's a lot of cards over 10k and I want to sell it, so they tell me to bring them down on a certain day & time, so bring them, unload all of them, then the same guy "Brian" comes out and tells me it's to much work for him to look at them and I need to convince him to do so because he is a business man! I had a terrible experience with this store. Based on Yelp reviews, I trusted the store with valuable baseball cards which I inherited from my stepbrother who died, so they had emotional value as well as economic. He would have HATED how his cards and I were treated. First, for the two cards that were potentially worth hundreds of dollars each, it took a year and a half to get the cards graded. Fine, that was a pandemic-era delay beyond the store's control; I accept that. But that was just the start. When they finally told me the grading was done and the cards were worth 300-500 dollars each, I agreed to let them sell them on e-bay for me for a 25% commission. After that, radio silence for over another year and a half. Between 2021 and 2023 I called numerous times for updates. I no longer lived in the area so I couldn't just stop by the store. When after a year and a half (three years total from when I dropped off my card) they kept not responding to my calls, I sent an email begging them to get my cards or money back to me and to contact me ASAP. Still no response. I then retained the help of a mediator who had no more luck getting the store to respond to phone calls or emails. Finally three and a half years since entrusting the store with my stepbrother's cards, I was in the area and stopped by. The store owner/manager Brian thankfully paid me for the cards finally, but when I saw when they had been sold on e-bay, it had been nearly a YEAR since one of them was sold any many months since the other was sold, with NO notification to me that the cards had been sold, and NO response to my many requests for an update. When I asked him why he had not responded to my calls and email, he simply said "I don't know." Absolutely terrible. read more

I really like the selection of cards here at this store. Even more so since they have a decent stock on Pokémon cards. Especially since during the holidays most places were sold out. But what kills it for me is one the employees was rude to my mother in law. It's easy to spend $100+ on Pokémon cards and to assume my mother in law couldn't afford a certain set and tell her "oh those are really expensive ". The guy with the curly hair was very rude. Took him a couple minutes to even acknowledge I was in the store. I tried to sell high end cards to him and he says he pays 20% of eBay prices. Really? I get it you need to make profit because you will eventually list them on eBay but buying at 20% is just nuts. Boxes and singles were also overpriced compared to other LCS. Will not return to this location. The rudeness is what will keep me from coming back. I'll give my money to another business that is welcoming. read more
