As a Korean person, I would advise you to get your Korean Food (and chicken) elsewhere. I'm confident that in the sea of amazing Asian food in this area, you will find a better iteration.
First, this place is extremely noisy and chaotic. Very hard to have a conversation, so keep that in mind. We wanted my future in-laws to get a sampler of beginner-friendly Korean dishes and Korean fried chicken, and due to their varied menu I thought this would work, but alas.
- Half & Half Fried Chicken (Regular & Sweet & Spicy): The sauced (sweet & spicy) chicken didn't hit the mark for me. It seemed pretty toned down, and was more sweet than spicy. It was certainly created to tailor to a non-Korean person's palate. The regular version was fine, but nothing to write home about.
- Japchae: Okay, WHAT THE WHAT are they doing to this poor dish? There were hardly any vegetables in it, and it was absolutely covered in sauce. This was not japchae, and more of a brown sugar/teriyaki abomination. Huge miss.
- Bulgogi Stew: Honestly, the japchae tasted pretty much identical to this dish. Had I known the japchae was going to be a carbon copy of this in non-stew form, I certainly would not have ordered it. Nothing to say about this either, it was meh. read more
