Stumbled upon this gem while looking for some cozy away from uptown bars and found this place close to my home! Went on a Tuesday evening and it was open mic night! Such a great ambiance and mixture of sounds and people. Everyone was super welcoming and pleasant. Lots of different little Knicks snacks to look at with a big selection of beers, wines and seltzers. Well behaved furry friends are welcomed and my 4 year old chihuahua was happy to be out on a Tuesday evening. Kind off reminded me of common market in a way. They do have an arcade room in the back with a few games to help pass the time as well such a great nice spot to come chill at during the week or weekend without the hassle of going uptown or plaza and trying to fight people for parking. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming often. read more

They have single beers in case there's been one you've been wanting to try but not sure if you want to commit to a whole pack. They have local to Charlotte beer, local North Carolina beers, and beers from across the U.S. And in case your preference is wine or non alcoholic drinks they have options for you as well! This cute spot at Eastway Crossing is amazing! There is a HUGE beer selection, two coolers filled with individual beers, beers on tap and some on shelves to take with you. There's a small selection of wine and wait for it. A Sake selection. WHAT? Super chill vibe, friendly service. Picnic tables out front, a small area in the back for a secluded, parking lot beer. A great place to meet up and grab a beer. Go check out this local business, it is so worth it. There are also some very cute t-shirts and sweatshirts with Bart's Mart printed on them. Barts Mart is your East side bottle shop. It's nice and tucked away in a strip but that doesn't change the gems you'll find on the shelves or in the cooler here. They have quite the inventory and are always looking for new great beers to keep in stock. Barts has a small bar and several tables in the front as well as on the patio. A nice comfy section in the rear and a secret out back space for the real customers. Overall plenty of seating and very spaced out for maximum enjoyment. There are a good amount of taps if you want a draft but it's a bottle shop so check the coolers and grab a unique can out of there to enjoy. They will get some hard to find beers in so be on the lookout on their Instagram page to see what's new that week and get your hands on some fresh craft beer! read more

I was trying to avoid traffic on Eastway by cutting through the plaza and stumbled upon Barts Mart. The selection of beer is outstanding and the service here is excellent as well.
