We had Ms. Sammi as our hygienist and she was super personable and kept the convo going. It's great to see that each dental station is equipped with a tv above the chair and headphones, so your kiddo can be distracted and watch their favorite program. Ms. Sammi was great, cleaned my littles teeth (I'm pretty sure he didn't even know he got his teeth cleaned he was so distracted). Dr. Susie came and went through his X-rays, let us know which teeth are loose, and we got set up with our next appointment. I love that this location gives your little a coin, so they can go to the prize vending machine and pick our their favorite item. The front desk told me it would be around $250 per child. I then asked what the total would be for both kids, and she quoted me around $500. Fast forward to today--when I arrived, the front desk handed me paperwork showing my total would be $485. I asked to confirm that this was for both kids combined, and she told me no, it was for each child. I immediately said that's not what I was quoted over the phone. She went to check with someone in the back and came back saying the original quote probably didn't include X-rays. At that point, I asked if we could skip the X-rays, and they told me no--X-rays are required for first-time patients. Then why wasn't that included in the original quote? I stayed polite and asked if there was anything they could do, since I only budgeted $500--not nearly $1,000. That's a huge difference from what I was told. The only thing they offered was $50 off, which really doesn't make a difference in this situation. This was clearly a mistake on their end. I'm sure they could go back and listen to the recorded call and hear what I was told. In my opinion, they should have honored the original quote. Also, for anyone paying out of pocket, their prices seem to be on the higher side. I called around afterward and found other pediatric dentists with much lower rates. One office in Julington Creek quoted $324 for a cleaning and X-rays (and I confirmed that twice), and another quoted $259 total--although they were hard to get in touch with. Just something to keep in mind if you're paying out of pocket.

This is in layman's terms, but the whole upper jaw had to be moved, lined up and wired. Our son really respected Dr. Cherry and trusted him implicitly. He also considered Dr. Cherry as someone he could talk to (a friend), and that was important for an 18 year old. Dr. Cherry didn't hold back, and explained everything to us and our son about the procedure. It really wasn't easy for an 18 year old to be laid up for a summer with his jaw wired shut, but Dr. Cherry called and checked up on our son many times. Our son looks so good and has a whole new profile, and we consider Dr. Cherry one of the very best. Dr. Cherry's staff is also very considerate - they are all very kind people who are concerned. We weren't a number coming in, but a family that was concerned about our son, and they were wonderful. One of the staff recently left, for personal reasons and we could not have done what we did without her help on insurance - she even gave me her personal cell number so I could call with concerns or questions. By the way, Dr. Cherry also gave us his cell to call at any time of the day or night. A great Doctor who is empathetic and concerned for his patients AND the parents. Needless to say, when I was informed by my regular dentist that my front tooth not only had to be pulled but may need a bone graft, I was in disbelief. Thankfully, I was referred to Dr. Bradley Cherry. After the first visit, I knew I was in the right place. They worked as a team to insure not only my medical needs were met but also made sure that I felt comfortable with the upcoming procedure. My surgery went great and I realized with the right doctor, oral surgery does not have to be scary. I had very little discomfort after my surgery and Dr. Cherry called me that night to make sure I was comfortable. I was so excited about my results and the fact that I can smile with confidence again. Dr. Cherry is a well respected surgeon with small town values. It felt like a scam and they wanted to get money out of you. I have perfectly straight teeth, never had a cavity, crown or any major dental work done and suddenly I need all this "preventative work" done. I DO NOT recommend.
