We were out of gravy, but we still had some ketchup packets in the car, so we used those. This pasty was slightly different in that the dough seam was on the top instead of along the edge. Again, it was filled with lightly seasoned beef, onions, potatoes and rutabaga. It was delicious and filling, even though I only ate half. Service was friendly, and the signage on the building makes this place visible from 4 different directions. There was a dijonnaise drizzled across the plate which was a welcome acid to balance out the richness of the veal. broccolini is always good, and the potatoes were really good. My daughter(an adult) - Boneless braised short ribs in a red wine gravy. I have had this previously and it was great. I sampled some of her dinner and confirmed that it is still very tasty. It taste like someone had cooked the ribs with good seasoning for a long time. The sides were the same as mine, but when you have a couple solid sides, why bother with other randoms.
