I called Lawson's Tree Experts to do some trimming on a tree in my driveway. I wanted to be there…read morefor the job, but was told it was easier for them to do it on Friday, June 1st, a day I was scheduled to be out of town. I forgot to leave a check and I called Thursday afternoon to reschedule. The woman I spoke with assured me that the job could be done anyway so I arranged through numerous phone calls to my bank and to Lawson's Tree Experts to have $600 wired to their account. I went out of my way (while in upstate New York) to accommodate Lawson Tree Experts. The main branch that I wanted taken out is still there! I have had two friends lose their back car window to this tree(one car was totaled), and I paid my $600 to insure that it doesn't happen to anyone else. Instead, I came home to discover that the job is unfinished but my money is gone, and now nobody will return my phone calls. I have record of each phone call I've made (nearly every other day since June 5th) and nobody at Lawson's Tree Experts office will returned my calls. I feel it's imperative to get this last limb removed before another car(or innocent unsuspecting person) gets hit by the limb that should have been removed. My phone number has been left each time, and Lawson's was quick to return my calls when they were expecting my money, but now that my money is in their hands, I get no response. This is unprofessional. It has been 27 days since Lawson's Tree Experts has been paid.

The company secured the Calvert permit to cut a tree in the Bay zone and completed the job on time and at cost-which was reasonable. The quality of the job was better than I had asked for. I only wanted the yard cleared, but TJ's made the best of the available plantings and produced a landscaped yard that looks better than it ever has. Highly recommend.

Jimmy and his crew are awesome! I had a tree rotting from the inside that needed to be removed…read morebecause it would have hit my house if it came down. He was prompt, communicative, professional, and well priced for the size of the tree (massive!). I have a large garden that's my pride and joy, and expected damage to the surrounding plants while the crew worked to take down the tree because that's been my experience with other companies in the past. They were extremely careful with the limbs/trunk and did a great job protecting my property to respect my wishes. I'd highly recommend this crew for work on anything in their portfolio. If they can deal with taking down a 150+' tree without damaging a garden this dense, they can do anything!

I didn't have a great experience with Dillon's…read more In my haste, I forgot to remove the porch cushions before the soft washing began. Unfortunately, the cleaning solution bleached the cushion covers beyond repair. The throw pillow inserts also had to be discarded because they were not salvageable. Looking back, I wish the crew had reminded me to remove the cushions before they started, as replacing them ultimately cost me more than the cleaning service itself. In addition, the windows were left with a noticeable film, several areas of the siding were still dirty with pollen, and the gutters still contained pine needles and other debris after the work was completed. After I contacted the company and shared photos of the damage, I was told that I should have read the fine print. The company offered me a small discount. I was also told that if I hired them again in the future, the job would cost several hundred dollars more because my house had been underbid. Overall, I was disappointed not only with the quality of the work but also with how my concerns were handled afterward.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Wells Home Improvement following a roof…read morereplacement. While the roof itself was completed, the lack of professionalism and total absence of communication afterward has been unacceptable. The Issues: Negligence: After finishing the roof, the crew completely forgot to reattach the gutters. Lack of Communication: It took several phone calls just to get a response regarding the gutters. I have since tried to contact them multiple times in writing regarding other issues, and they have completely ignored my messages. Property Damage/Residue: Upon closer inspection, there is now visible residue inside my bathroom skylight left behind by the workers. HOA Violations: Because this is a rental property, the detached front downspout resulted in me receiving a violation notice from my HOA before I was even aware of the problem. As a property owner I rely on contractors to be thorough and responsive. Wells Home Improvement failed on both counts. If you are looking for a company that stands by their work and communicates with their clients, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
