Just a mile and a half outside of Bartlett and west of the tracks down County Road 387 you'll find the deceased residents of Bartlett. Next to this cemetery is another cemetery called the Old Black cemetery which sadly looks in disarray.
The property here is surrounded on all sides by cornfields thus making it a quiet and peaceful place. Virtually the entire cemetery is laid out into family plots, neatly arranged and cared for. There are hundreds of graves here, many of them from the late 1800s, but I could find no Texas historical sign on the property.
