Between Jarrell and Salado, both areas lack any parks with walking trails. Don't ask me why, but I…read morejust know that the sole park that Jarrell has and driving 12 minutes to Salado, I thought this park would have had them, but of course, I was wrong. This park appears to be catering to the children because they have a playground, then they have a creekbed that I see some children playing in, open fields that children can run around. I spotted some deer walking out in plain sight not bothered by the people. I ended up walking on the road where vehicles frequently passed me by. Not very safe, but I wanted to get some exercise in. It's in a cute part of Salado that looks old-timey. The park was within a residential area since there were houses inside the park grounds. It is maintained with cut grass and plenty of parking.

Yes I expected more based on previous pics and reviews. In a way expected little BUT it was sad :/ this place is neglected and there were like many missing structures so either they were taken away or stolen. The few that's here is pretty run down besides the ones in my pics. Glad we got here still light out because this whole area looks dead and creepy. No one around either. Only thing that was kinda worth it was this gray cat that was kinda cute who followed us around wanting to play and be scratched until he decided to not play anymore and bit my daughters hand lol Anyways these are 3 of the nicer sculptures. Others are pretty sad. And the place has trash all over the trail too and questionable items on the floors too. It would be so cool if they revamped it!
