Delicious tacos and cozy, warm ambiance (the constant stream of couples on first dates at this place is always entertaining)! Only issue is that it can get crowded but I guess that's just a sign that it's popular. read more

bartaco - Dip and scoop ! - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

This place is overpriced and overrated!! The service is awful and the food is eh. I only ate here because it was a friends birthday. We had large party and expected a wait. After being told we were next on the list, my party had to wait an ADDITIONAL hour for a table. When we were finally seated, interaction with the server was few and far between. I have mixed reviews about the food. The taco selection and flavors are a cheap knockoff of Takorea. The pork belly taco was greasy and all fat. The banh mi taco lacked flavor and the chorizo taco was super greasy. However the spicy cucumber salad and grilled corn are worth ordering. Overall, this place is trendy but it's only worth visiting once (if that). read more

It's a cool place. Trendy. Full bar. Groups about us seemed to enjoy it. Food-wise, It's not that great. We tried 5 different tacos, all not exciting (the cauliflower was very spicy so can't taste it). The guacamole was actually good. Not made fresh to order, but good. The mushroom tamale was decent as well. Bottom line, we left hungry. read more

I LOVE Bartaco! I love their ambiance, patio, and especially their food! My go to favs are the cauliflower tacos (which I sometimes get with lettuce instead of tortilla), corn on the cob, guacamole, and last but not least their plantains. You must get the plantains. They are delicious paired with their dipping sauce which I assume is tartar sauce. Either way those two were a match made in heaven. Their food and service is always awesome and the most important thing is that everything is always constant. I can expect the same food and service whenever I go, which is very nice. Keep up the good work Bartaco and please could you open one up near me? (I live around Marietta) read more

Where do I BEGIN?! This was the absolute best and most seamless birthday dinner I've ever had. Donte was such a good server and it was my first time at a BarTaco so that was so cool. He gave all 23 people the little rundown at the same time and answered all of the millions of questions we had in immense detail. Talk about IMPRESSED. Everyone walked away more than happy and I will be sure to come back here again. You guys have a gem on your hands. Also, I've never been able to 23 separate checks and not have a lag in the experience (maybe he knows magic?)! Everyone come to BarTaco and ask for Donte!!!!!!!!! read more

The food, service and vibe was a HIT!!! Everything we had was amazing - Wayyyy better than the restaurant (BeetleCat) next door ;-/

I noticed that bartaco had opened when I took a walk through Inman park from work. It looked cool and inviting and what kind of self respecting human doesn't like tacos? I visited today with some co workers and the food was good. One of them said the duck taco was excellent. The rice bowl with sesame short rib was pretty good too. The service was quality as well. The reason for 3 stars is the prices and how they relate to the amount of food in your order. As in...they do not correlate. 2.50 for a taco that is 2 bites to eat is too much. Just call yourself a tapas place. I know the price of tacos at many other similar restaurants and these are similarly priced, but twice the size. read more

bartaco is one of my favorites for a more causal dinner. the vibes are so good at every single location. it's cozy and homey. i love the tacos, but i really love the appetizers. the spicy cucumber salad and street corn are SO good. i wish i could eat it every day. the salsa and guac is good as well. love the churros and drinks. this is great place for a last minute dinner read more

SO GOOD it makes me want to move to Midtown! Everything is fresh fresh FRESH! The guacamole is creamy, chunky yummy with a little kick- really good! My sis and I shared the corn on the cob and pineapple as side dish. The corn was so freaking yummy I didn't care how much I got on my face! Pineapple was really just pineapple - nothing special. We shared these tacos in order of our faves: 1. Redfish! Spicy delish! 2. Baja fish- fried with a yummy dressing 3. Pork belly- like taco candy!!!!! 4. Ribeye - very tender but marinade was a bit sweet for me which was also my issue with the 5. Crunchy shrimp- very tasty - I just prefer a bit more savory taco. Service was great! Ashley was quick and super friendly! I never give5 stars but Bartaco was more than worthy!!!!! Decor is fun and welcoming- to all ages. This is not just a young hipster joint! read more

Giving 5 stars just because i love bartaco and this location usually has good service. I'll continue to come back! The duck birria is LITERALLY SO GOOD. Must order. Margaritas are too sour/not strong enough for my taste but a grapefruit martini is great! Emmy is such a sweet bartender. Soooo nice and considerate, such a cute gal. However, the other girl working the bar with her was openly rude and had a bad attitude. She was sarcastic to us when we thanked her for cleaning up a mess off the bar from previous customers (we sat in front of their trash for 10 mins), and i saw her taking a shot with other customers as well. I didn't get her name. May have just been a bad night for her but me and my guest felt ignored by her. If it wasn't for Emmy we would've left and gone to little spirit read more

Bar Taco is an awesome restaurant and bar! Went for drinks and appetizers. Sat at the bar which has a great casual and cool atmosphere. Our bartender ( and now friend) Dan, made amazing drinks and went above and beyond to personalize the experience for us. Also, The guacamole is by far the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return read more

The quality of the food and the service has declined lately. It feels like you are doing them a favor by dining there.

The atmosphere here was great, the ambiance, the crowd, etc. The food was excellent. They use fresh fruits for the margaritas so it tastes sweet but still has that liquor taste as well. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the chicken pastor, spicy chorizo, and a carne asada taco which was cooked perfectly and tasted so well and juicy. I will definitely be going back. read more

This is literally the most accommodating restaurant I have ever been to. I am vegan and although they have a ton of vegan options (plantains, tamale, tacos...), I was in the mood for something fresh, so guacamole it was. However, I can't have any black pepper or a lot of salt, so the manager literally made my guacamole FROM SCRATCH and gave me a double portion while only charging me half. The guacamole was amazing and the service even better. I would go back in a heartbeat. read more

Food was great but this it seem to be a black cloud in the building. I'm not sure but it could have been one of the guest.

I had the BEST experience at Bartaco tonight. Dante was our sever and provided the joy that we needed! We will definitely be back!

Everything is just great about this place. The food, the server, and the interior! I ordered the duck, pork and simp tacos. The shrimp tasted okay and the pork tasted pretty good. But the duck. ....ooohhhh the duck was so good! I would totally recommend the duck to everyone. Also all the servers there were very friendly and....they were also really good looking too!aha read more

Came here first time after t opened and it took 45 minutes to get our drink. We complaint to the manager and decided to leave without even eating. The manager apologized and set us up for next visit. On the second visit the service was much better. The food is incredible and their drinks are well prepared. If coming with big groups, consider that they don't split checks and that can really be a hassle. If you are new, ask about the ordering system, or else you will be seating there for a while while you figure it out. Hands down, the best tamales I have had in town, and I am Mexican. 4 stars because the first time was really a terrible experience with the service. read more

bartaco - Best guacamole I've ever had! - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

This popular franchise seems to have made its way to Inman Park highlands area so I decided I'd give it a shot seeing as I was in the area for lunch. This location validated parking in the apartment complex behind it so be sure to take advantage of that. I took advantage of their copious patio seating on this hot summers day which really sets the tone for serene setting. You use ordering cards to place your order and servers come to pick it up when you are ready which really simplifies the ordering process. I kept it simple and ordered a sesame ribeye rice bowl, but their 3 for $10 taco lunch special definitely caught my eye so be on the lookout for that ! My food came out after about 15 Mins , hot and fresh. Upon tasting , there was an interesting combination of flavors in this dishes ; a mixture of spicy and sweetness from the cooked fruit and peppers that come within the dish. I didn't had it , but I also didn't love it. I'd probably try something else upon returning to this establishment. Another thing to remember is that all bar tacos are cashless establishments so don't forget to bring a credit or debit card ! read more

Great tacos that are different and fusion. They have a f ew veggie ones which are pretty good. It's expensive but that's typical now for Inman park places. Great ambiance and outdoor patio. Perfect people watching or day drinking spot. read more

If I could give this place a 10 star I would. The food and service was amazing. We had the poke bowl and some tacos (the pork carnitas taco was our favorite), all were so good. The margaritas are amazing, not overly sweet and syrupy like most places. We will definitely be back:) read more

Bartaco is definitely a hot spot, located near the belt line you will most likely have a trouble finding a parking spot unless you been around the area before. The service, and my waiter, were GREAT. He told us about the freshly squeezed juice and was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave me great suggestions. I ordered the fish tacos in the lettuce wrap (lettuce wrap is like $2 extra), & the shrimp tacos in the lettuce wrap. It's not a extremely "I'm full, let me roll over" meal but will get you settled with about 2-4 (really 2-3 but I'm kinda big). The most interesting thing is how you order here, you basically fill out a sheet of paper, and your waiter/waitress will take it from your table. That way if you were to come in a large group (which many seem to do) you can have the bill already separated. You can also complete a survey and get a small plaque for 1 free taco. It's very light tasting food, with open area seating, so when it's a nice warm or cool night this is definitely a place to enjoy. I guess you can call it a 'metro mexican' restaurant, not really authentic, but it is really a place you can't go wrong with going to anytime of the day with a group or date. 5 stars overall. read more

The service was great! The manager with short hair was very attentive to us and made sure everything was brought to our table. Our food was tasty and delicious. Recommend 10/10! read more

Margarita, shrimp taco and key lime in a jar was really good but service could have been better. When we walked in, we waited for the host to get to the host stand for about 5 minutes. Then, we waited for 15 minutes for a table which is fine. However, they say us at a table that was empty and cleaned for about 5-10 minutes. Then when they told us our table was ready we waited for another 5 minutes for the host to come back to the stand.... read more

Just as great as the location on Marietta street. A must go and dine restaurant.

Used to love the guac here... actually still love the guac but they transitioned delicious golden brown chips to light skinned Tostitos ... talked this up to my date from tinder now she's making me ride a bird scooter home. Thanks for nothing bar Tostitos read more

Great tacos! Nice vibe for a late Saturday date night. The pork belly was our fav. I will def being going back.

I can't get enough of this place. Not only is the food incredible but the service is great too. Our bartender Roy was on point with everything and he's hilarious. Inman Park Bartaco is the best of the three hands down! read more

The manager convinced us to give bartaco another try, and I'm glad he did. We must have just went at the worst possible time, because everything was better this go around. I still think the portions are a little too small, but the guac is delicious and both of us agreed that the portabella taco was divine! The baja fish taco also had a good flavor, but the mahi mahi, fried oysters and curry shrimp were just average. Service was delightful this time around, the employees were friendly and speedy. Also, do finish with the Key Lime Pie, 'cause hot damn it's good. read more

Review purely based on the pricing of their mediocre salsa, poor excuse for a cucumber salad, and the Fact that they have no queso lol. If you serve chips, there should be queso! read more

I love this place! Such a good food and energy! And I love the manager(that was there today at lunch), she is so sweet and helpful!

I am a fan of a good taco. I've been to Bartaco several times and have tried different tacos. I have yet to have a bad one. This particular time, I tried the Yucatan redfish, baja fish and sesame ribeye. All three of them were tasty but I was particularly pleased with the flavor in the Yucatan redfish taco. Most fish tacos don't have a lot of flavor in the fish itself. This fish was very flavorful. We also enjoyed the guacamole. It's also very tasty. I've eaten here several times and will continue to visit. Not only is the food tasty, the atmosphere is wonderful. I love how you feel like you're eating outside even when you aren't. It makes the whole dining experience feel refreshing. read more

I love Bartaco. Food and drinks are great. So was our sweet young waitress last night. But the loud music, though... we had to sit outside to avoid yelling at each other. But it was chilly, and since we didn't want to be exposed to the music by going back in, we had to leave. read more

Trendy taco joint in the heart of Inman Park. The parking is tough (paid parking garage around the block) and the wait time is worse. A group of friends and I went in on a Saturday night and were told there was a wait, which was expected. We crowded by the bar and spent 3-4x times more than the entire cost of the tacos on drinks waiting to be seated. The tacos were basic but the churros were surprise hit. I wouldn't go out of my way to return but it seems to be the "place to be" for drinks and a quick bite. read more

Patio is lovely, they are very dog friendly. My veggie tacos (I had one of each) were savory and delicious. Guacamole was also very good. I did not however like the salsa. They all tasted the same, super citrusy and not spicy at all. The salsas were......gross. I also don't love the whole tortilla in place of chips spin on it. read more
