I then received a charge of $280 for 26 gallons of fuel. They said my truck wasn't left on full. So I made a few calls and after a day the charges were reversed. They said I had a faulty fuel Gauge and when they opened the tank it was full! The fuel Gauge was NOT faulty. It was on F at drop off. Also why did they put on my charge that they put 26 gallons of fuel in when they obviously didn't do anything with the truck? I'm not wondering if there some how keeping that fuel money they're screwing people out of!

The towing company took us to the only shop still open on a Friday night. Santinis staff welcomed us (including my 11 year old dog) with water and air conditioning immediately. They went out of their way to accommodate us into their busy schedule. They made us feel like family. Thanks again to all of the staff at Santinis!

We called at about 7:45 Monday morning and Kevin, the owner, was able to take our truck in right away. Our Ford diesel had a coolant leak, and after diagnosing the problem he carefully inspected the rest of the engine and discovered two additional hoses that were also failing. He ordered the correct parts from the Ford dealership and the staff at Elite Auto & Fleet took care of the parts installation. What really stood out was the customer service. Kevin personally drove us back to the KOA RV Park after we dropped the truck off, and then picked us up when the repair was finished. That kind of service is rare these days. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about diesel engines, very personable, and clearly has his customers' best interests at heart. The price was very reasonable for diesel repair, and the work was completed quickly--we dropped the truck off Monday morning and were back on the road by about 10:00 AM Tuesday. I truly cannot say enough good things about the service we received. Absolutely no negatives. If you are in the Barstow area and need auto or diesel work, Elite Auto & Fleet is the place to go.

We called AAA but in the triple digit heat, on the freeway, about an hour and a half later, our temporary tire was installed. Imagine our surprise when we tried six shops, starting with Wal-mart, and some other small tire shops along Main Street, like Mota's, but none had my size tire. They had a slightly wider tire, so we were elated, we finally found a tire shop that made a suggestion and alternative to staying in Barstow if the tire was ordered. The other tires were cracking, so we ended up getting three new tires for a little over $300, about $326 with tax. THANK YOU for saving the day. THANK YOU to the worker who made that epic suggestion.

Our mechanic, Ed, should have his own Yelp page because it would get 5+ stars. He was amazing. He gave us fair prices and called around and looked for cheaper parts while we waited. You really could feel like you could trust him instantly. He would call you almost every day with updates on the car (who does that these days at car repair shops!?). All of this while he was constantly making jokes and keeping the situation light. We are so thankful to him and his crew. We live in LA but I would drive a couple hours out there just to have him do repairs on my car. They even washed the car before they gave it back and the owner gave us a ride down to Enterprise.
