Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. In my experience, this is an…read moreextremely overpriced, unprofessional operation that takes no accountability for the work they do. I have been here multiple times, unfortunately believing things would improve. Instead, my experience only got worse. Two different employees -- Laurie and Val -- worked on my face, and both times the results were unacceptable. My face was left visibly uneven and distorted, something no client should ever have to deal with, especially after paying premium prices. When I brought my concerns directly to the owner, Ashley, I was absolutely shocked by her response. Rather than showing empathy, professionalism, or even basic concern, she was dismissive, argumentative, and condescending. I showed her clear photos of my face and explained what was wrong, and instead of taking responsibility, she had excuse after excuse. At no point did she acknowledge any fault or show genuine care for the situation. Her attitude -- including a smirk while I was explaining how upset I was -- made the situation even more upsetting and insulting. This wasn't a one-time issue. This happened not once, not twice, but three times, and each time I was met with deflection and blame-shifting instead of solutions. For a business that charges what they do, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care is unacceptable. I left feeling dismissed, disrespected, and frankly deceived. Based on my experience, this place is more concerned with protecting their ego and profits than the well-being of their clients. I am now exploring further action because this situation was handled so poorly and irresponsibly. If you value your face, your money, and being treated with respect, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I deeply regret trusting this business and wish I had read a review like this before ever walking through their doors.

They pay attention to detail. And above all, they truly want the best and most comfortable outcome for their clients. Joanna, who performed my Pico laser treatments, is an absolute gem. She took her time to carefully treat every single dark spot on my face and made sure nothing was missed. On top of her expertise, every session with her was so enjoyable -- we laughed the whole time, which made the experience even better. I will truly be coming back for Joanna! I honestly can't recommend Insula Med Spa enough. Professional, caring, thorough, and just all-around wonderful. If you're considering any aesthetic treatments, this is the place to go!

That's what happens when you get a doctor who is not educated in an area in which he attempts to practice. I've taken vicodin on an as needed basis for advanced osteoarthritis, for eight years. When I moved, I found this guy and I even asked if he would feel comfortable prescribing it. He said sure, and then threw me out of his practice when he could not manage my meds after all. I suspect the real reason is, he started missing appts with me, without giving 24 hours notice. I complained, and the same day, he had someone from his office call and tell me not to come back. Very irresponsible and unprofessional: two characteristics you don't want in a doctor!

Dr. Zugerman's manner, bedside or otherwise, is one of the reasons I recommend him.
