This Dermatologist is super close to me so I thought I would take advantage and get a check up…read morehere. I try to hide as much as I can from the sun but I have an extended family (in laws) that love the sun. I would prefer my 20 minutes a day of Vitamin D and then be done with sun literally burning my skin. Of course like any insane Generation X female, I used to "tan" in the artificial tanning booths in my late 20's and early 30's. Now that I have mature skin I want NO part of the sun burning me up and ruining my face. I gave this office a visit a few years ago. I really did enjoy speaking to Dr. Beth Adams, who unfortunately is not here any longer/ Her bedside manner was very kind and caring. This was two years ago, at least. I have since then noticed that I have a few "sun" spots on my face and I really wanted them gone. I decided to make an appt and to my surprise the wait was long. I booked the appt in July and the appt wasn't until late August. I ended up seeing Dr. Emily Stevenson. She suggested that I have the sun spots "frozen" off. She told me the cost and I thought this was a reasonable price for removing 10 blemishes. I had the sun spots "frozen". The skin did get red and did scab over the next few days. I hid my face under a mask for a few days and that did the trick. I made sure that the scabs were covered with Vaseline and my skins never got too dry. The scars did heal well. Dr. Emily did tell me that some blemished may need an additional session because they are stubborn. I may have to go back but I won't do that until the Spring time when I am on Break. She also said to wear tons of sunblock which I am trying to. I was satisfied with the service I received.

I had several questions and concerns about my eczema around my eyes and overall complexion. She addressed my concerns and also suggested additional treatments from the aesthetician that I can do in conjunction with a new skincare routine to improve my skin texture. I'm excited to put her advice and treatment plan to work and see results soon. I feel more confident in my skin now

I cannot recommend this dermatologist for surgical procedures…read more In December 2025, I had a cyst removed from my chest. Before moving forward, I specifically asked whether the procedure would leave a scar and was told it would not. At my follow up appointment at the beginning January I was informed by Dr. Regina O'Brien that all stitches had been removed and was advised to start using scar treatment. Later in January , I realized that what I thought was a scab was actually a stitch that had been left in my chest. I had to schedule another visit to have it removed. The area had to be numbed again, which meant going through additional discomfort and inconvenience that could have been avoided. I asked that my insurance not be billed for the corrective visit since the retained stitch was due to their oversight and negligence. I also requested a discount on the bill I received, but that requests was denied by Dr. Regina O'Brien without consideration of the circumstances. Since the removal of the remaining stitch, the scar has developed into a tender keloid. It is very noticeable and cosmetically upsetting. I underwent this procedure expecting improvement, but the result has been disappointing And heartbreakin. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision

Dr. Rao is INCREDIBLE. The short version, run, don't walk, to schedule with her…read more The longer version: After 2 years of trying every at-home skincare solution under the sun to treat my forehead lines, I knew I wanted to try Daxxify as a last resort. But unfortunately, I struggle with vasovagal syncope (fainting during medical procedures, especially those that involve needles). I met with Dr. Rao for an hour to discuss options. She answered every single one of my concerns and I got the sense that if I decided never to come back, she would be totally okay with that. I was pleasantly surprised that an aesthetic professional would be such a proponent of staying totally natural if that's what I wanted to do. I was also shocked to know that she gets some of these treatments done herself, because she looks so natural and normal. Dr. Rao's values about helping people achieve very natural looks aligned with my goals. The day of the treatment came and I was very anxious and afraid of the new experience. But Dr. Rao was extremely patient and kind. I was able to bring my partner with me for moral support, and the two of them were champions at coaching me back to life when I started to black out halfway through the injections. We were able to finish the process from there. My results are fantastic and my self-esteem is restored, since now I don't spend about a thousand thoughts a day obsessing over my forehead. It looks extremely natural and I still have the amount of movement I need to do my job as an actor, while eliminating the deep lines that were there before. I highly recommend Dr. Rao to anyone who's nervous about their first treatment. Sometimes we don't need more information; we need more courage (and a safe environment) and Dr. Rao certainly provides that.

I was not left with that. I was actually left with serious pinky size holes in my face. I've been spending thousands of dollars trying to revise everything she's done. Not a day goes by where she's not in my mind. She literally lives rent free. Not only that, but after the incident she tried to tell me that it was my fault for seeking her. Then when I tried to ask her how is she going to fix this? She was trying to sell me her products. Coincidence I don't think so? I saw her September 28th 20123 and she has been sitting with me every single day ever since. I don't think I'm ever going to forget this person, although she lives every single day. Super happy living her best life knowing that she's done this to me and destroyed my entire life and erect my relationship because I have hyper focused on my scars that I've lost my only love of my life because I can't even go outside without feeling like disintegrating. Shame on this person. I hope karma comes for everything she's done to me. I hope that other people can see this so that she stops pretending because when I first saw her clinic in 2023 she actually had five reviews on Google and now since my reviews and her removing them there are over 50 because she's trying to drown out the truth.
