What a wonderful hidden gem in Galt . The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and cozy, the staff is exceptional! I really liked the attention to details. They have come up with several different events, My friend brought me to the members only special event that happened today and they had food and wine tasting it was just all so darling! This is definitely a place I'm going to be coming back to visit again I cannot wait to see how it looks for fall and winter. If you love Wine, you will love this charming Wine Boutique.

Barsetti Vineyards has an urban winery in the middle of downtown Galt. Yes, there is a downtown Galt with a nice attractive setting to begin or end your Lodi wine journey. The tasting room and wine bar is located on 4th Street. You can get better directions by using 485 4th Street in your mapping program. The winery has a standard five-for-five with refund. The wines tend to be on the sweeter and fruiter side with actual fruit blends. The wines are average to above average but are a very good value and great way to shop local. Live music and events keep the place hopping on the weekends with great ice cream and food down the street. Compared to most Lodi wineries, Barsetti has more of a suburban wine bar feel instead. The interior and large bar are great, although you will be looking at train tracks instead of vineyards. They are a bit out of the way compared to a lot of wineries, but they are a decent option for those looking for more entertainment and something different.

I like the footrail at the tasting bar!

What a fun little wine bar! I stopped by and was able to get extremely pleasant service from a lovely woman. Found some very tasty moderately priced wines in a comfortable tasting space. Plan to use sunscreen and wear a hat/sunglasses if you're outside because the location leaves the outdoor area in full sun. I'm too pale for it so i stuck to the indoors. Ample parking across the street and a few shops nearby to look into. I'm very glad I visited and plan to stop by again.

Great wine tasting room that is a bit smaller but more welcoming than others. They were all smiles and have 5 dollar wine tasting for 5 different types of wine and sparkling wine 1 dollar extra. They also have fruit flavored wines with strawberry and mango. We got live music when we were there.

My husband and I came here because we tasted their Mango Mischief at the Lodi Food and Wine Festival and we really liked it. We thoroughly enjoyed every single wine we tasted in the tasting room ($5 for 5 tastes). They have a whites & rose taste which includes some of their sweeter, fruitier, wines and they have a red tasting. We were enjoying all of the wines we were selecting to taste so much that we requested to taste them all!! Across the board these wines are well developed and smooth. We ended up purchasing 5 bottles AND joining the wine club. We are so thrilled to have such amazing wines to add to our home cellar!

Nice spread for wine club members. A good location in downtown Galt. There is also an outside eating area.

Came here Friday evening to check out this new wine tasting room. Zach was extremely personable and very knowledgably about the wines, he made the first experience here memorable The food from the Velvet Creamery chef and live music are 5 stars and are complementary while wine tasting. $5 wine tasting fee is waived towards any bottle purchase. The zinfandel was my favorite, with a couple more months of aging this wine will be better with time.

Great wine club. Picked up my wine, had lunch (complimentary) and listened to a good band outside! What a nice day today too.

I came here for their dueling piano event and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the…read moreproperty is. The vineyard is very well maintained, with manicured grounds and a scenic lake. They even offer boating and paddleboarding, which adds a fun, active touch to the experience. Parking: Free with a decent number of spots for around 100 guests, but it could feel congested for larger events. There's only one way to in and out, so plan accordingly. Also, the road leading to the vineyard is quite dark at night: some areas have little to no lighting, so make sure your headlights are working well, especially since it's a bit of a drive from the main street. Drinks: Some of their popular options include: * Peach Mango Sparkling (11%, Lodi) * Zinfandel 2024 (15.6%, Lodi) * Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2019 (14%, Lodi) * Pomegranate Sparkling (11%, Lodi) They offer picnic snack trays, and for events, they bring in food trucks, which is a nice touch. Service: Friendly and efficient. One downside was staffing and restroom access. It seemed like they were a bit understaffed, and only 2 restrooms were open while others were locked. For an event with around 100 people, this led to long lines, especially in the cold. The event itself was held in a white outdoor tent by the lake, which created a great atmosphere. However, the path to the tent is all gravel with no defined walkway, something to keep in mind if you're wearing heels or thin sandals. Overall, it's a lovely venue with a unique setting, great for small weddings or intimate gatherings.

A guest at wedding had to go out and purchase tank of propane because heater wasn't working. These are both basic expectations to be part of the service at a wedding venue. The meal was supposed to be family style. Instead of placing all dishes on table so guests could enjoy properly, timely and pass amongst themselves, servers would bring one dish at a time and several minutes later servers would bring another dish....so you didn't have your entire meal available at same time. Not at all how a family style meal should be presented or organized. In general I thought the event was unorganized and not well thought out.

Now that life has settled down a bit I need to give love to where love is deserved...The memories this place has and will forever hold for us is incredible. I want to start off by saying getting married comes with so much work, head space and money. I downloaded so many wedding apps to help me in any way and our top priority was our venue. Where we want to leave memories that we can cherish and hold on to. We found this vineyard through a few wedding apps and felt it wasn't far for families to travel to but far enough to feel special. During our consultation we got to meet the AMAZING Alina who owns the vineyard. She introduced us to some delicious wines and got down to business of touring her venue and the scenery she has to offer. Within moments it felt like a dream. The warmth her vineyard offers with her family as the caretakers you can tell they pour themselves into what Grace Vineyard is. A place for people to come and relax and enjoy life. A place to create memories. The fact that her vineyard offers all inclusive as well was just the cherry on top! When I say she takes care of you I mean she takes care of you. We had children at our wedding which most people do not want to deal with the stress of baby sitting but with Alina not only did she offer fun jumbo grass games but she also offered a lifeguard on hand to make sure no little ones got into the pool. The worry of drama was out the door when she offered all night security as well! We also had a 9 person band and with constant communication we were able to have my husband have his wedding dream by having a live band! Her willingness to make sure that our wedding was everything we wanted and more I just couldn't have asked for a better day. My husband and I will forever love this place and keep a spot of them and Alina in our hearts. We will definitely be back to enjoy our favorite wine and truly just come back to bring the memories of our wedding day again. Would recommend this place to ANY Bride.

I enjoyed the wine flavors here a bit better. I'm more for the lighter white wine selections these days. They gave me good options. The outdoor garden area with patio seating is pleasant. The expanse of the vineyard itself is amazing in the forefront of blue skies and sunlight. Lots of parking is available on their gravel lot. Treated us with respect and kindness the whole time we were there, this would be our first time going there. I didn't like or appreciate that kind of attitude towards ANYONE this is a business there are certain protocols that need to be followed, regardless. We weren't being disrespectful or loud! In my family We are taught very early on to be very RESPECTFUL. Anyways, I put my feelings aside and I didn't let the two females ruin MY day. We had a wonderful time, Because we chose to dust off the bad vibes. And make it a memorable day with my sisters and friends. I probably will be going somewhere else, the next time I want to do wine tasting again. IMPROVE; I would say maybe a lesson in bedside manners for the 2 ladies behind the counter. We too have all color friends. And welcome them with open arms. * I do want to say to our tour guide T you were so kind on Saturday. Thank you!

Shoutout to the West Sacramento/ Clarksburg area…read more... The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.

They have many events here, including private events and wedding. The upcoming event is Port and Chocolate for Valentine's Day. That sounds so delicious. I loved chocolate and my husband is always up to trying another port. Parking- They have a private lot and we were able to easily find a parking spot right in-front of the entrance. Bathrooms- They have many stalls in the bathroom located to the left of the entrance. Temperature- It's cool inside, a little too cool for us today. It was 63 degrees out today and warm in the sun. I bet in the sweltering heat of our summers this is the perfect place to be. The Sugar Mill is an indoor venue. They have three different building with different wineries at this time. So, there is a little walking outside. Wine Barrels- You can buy half wine barrels for your garden for sale. Seating- They have lots of little seating areas. Inside they have a whole room with seating and nice decor. The tables are draped in white table cloths and there are stacks of wine barrels as the back drop. They have a palm court in the back and it's so quaint and beautiful. Perfect for sipping some wine slowly and chit chatting with friends. If you are looking to sit in the sun there is are a set of tables and chairs out back near the food truck. Ambiance- I love the location and building. It's an old Sugar Mill that produced sugar from sugar beets. That industry has now ended and it's now a place to visit many wineries. It's the only place that I know of that have numerous wineries and offer wine tasing for a minimum fee.
