I came here for a private event and it was so good! The event featured 7 different wines that were deliciously paired with heavy apps from another local business. Plenty of street parking. There's outside seating but we were indoors for this event. My favorite was the sparkling wine! I love bubbles! Local gem that is often missed. I've been in Galt for 9yrs and was missing out. My hubby found a Groupon yes Groupon for tasting here. We went and had a great time. Very friendly staff, owner included and drinks were perfect. Things were so great we joined their quarterly membership. We've been here for Friday night music, wine club pick ups and I often frequent for a slushy. Definitely a missed spot in town. I suggest you go to and have a ball. read more

Me and my wife stop by to check out Barsetti Vineyards in Galt. We did a wine tasting inside of the winery. The wine tasting was great. My wife favorite was the sparkling wine and my was the old town red. My wife also enjoyed the wine slushy which she said was delicious. The wines were so good that we became wine club members. Customer service was great and the staff was very knowledgeable about the history of the winery and the wines. Ambiance was great and very customer service friendly. It has an old town winery feel that really focuses on the history of the vineyard. Seating is great and a wonderful outdoor seating especially on a hot day. This is a must go to if you are a wine connoisseur. read more

We stopped by this winery during the Wine & Chocolate Event, Feb. 13 & 14, 2016. They're located in a downtown/square type of area. Parking can be difficult to find if they're having an event. The wine tasting room is medium-sized and spacious with a long counter. The service was friendly and they explained all of the wines in detail. My husband loved their wines and we bought the Merlot 2007 and the Zin 2013. read more

Barsetti Vineyards has an urban winery in the middle of downtown Galt. Yes, there is a downtown Galt with a nice attractive setting to begin or end your Lodi wine journey. The tasting room and wine bar is located on 4th Street. You can get better directions by using 485 4th Street in your mapping program. The winery has a standard five-for-five with refund. The wines tend to be on the sweeter and fruiter side with actual fruit blends. The wines are average to above average but are a very good value and great way to shop local. Live music and events keep the place hopping on the weekends with great ice cream and food down the street. Compared to most Lodi wineries, Barsetti has more of a suburban wine bar feel instead. The interior and large bar are great, although you will be looking at train tracks instead of vineyards. They are a bit out of the way compared to a lot of wineries, but they are a decent option for those looking for more entertainment and something different. read more

What a wonderful hidden gem in Galt . The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and cozy, the staff is exceptional! I really liked the attention to details. We visited Barsetti's during the Lodi Wine & Chocolate Tasting. Although it was a bit more north than we originally wanted to drive, we were glad we went the distance. This place was a true gem. What a fun little wine bar! I stopped by and was able to get extremely pleasant service from a lovely woman. Found some very tasty moderately priced wines in a comfortable tasting space. Plan to use sunscreen and wear a hat/sunglasses if you're outside because the location leaves the outdoor area in full sun. I'm too pale for it so i stuck to the indoors. Ample parking across the street and a few shops nearby to look into. I'm very glad I visited and plan to stop by again. read more

My husband and I came here because we tasted their Mango Mischief at the Lodi Food and Wine Festival and we really liked it. We thoroughly enjoyed every single wine we tasted in the tasting room ($5 for 5 tastes). They have a whites & rose taste which includes some of their sweeter, fruitier, wines and they have a red tasting. We were enjoying all of the wines we were selecting to taste so much that we requested to taste them all!! Across the board these wines are well developed and smooth. We ended up purchasing 5 bottles AND joining the wine club. We are so thrilled to have such amazing wines to add to our home cellar! read more

Came here Friday evening to check out this new wine tasting room. Zach was extremely personable and very knowledgably about the wines, he made the first experience here memorable The food from the Velvet Creamery chef and live music are 5 stars and are complementary while wine tasting. $5 wine tasting fee is waived towards any bottle purchase. The zinfandel was my favorite, with a couple more months of aging this wine will be better with time. read more

What a lovely tasting room! Nestled in old town (which is beautiful to visit) Barsetti has a truly unique wine selection that is sure to please. I typically do not enjoy white or dessert wines and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicate and balanced flavors of the Pinot Grigio, the Chardonnay and their strawberry wine!! The reds (my favorite) had deep, drinkable flavor without any overwhelming oak finish. Be sure to try the Old Town Red Blend and the 2014 Zin!! The super friendly and attentive staff always do their best to help you find something yummy to sip on from their great selection of award winning wines. Came on a Friday Night with girlfriends to do a late Christmas exchange and enjoy the wine. The employees and band were amazing, the other guests not so much. It seems they have established their own "crowd" of people and they weren't very friendly to new comers. It is an older crowd hang out (me and my friends are in our late 30's) and did not feel very welcomed. That didn't bother us though we stayed and enjoyed a great bottle of Barsetti's blend and Merlot, the band was great. They had complementary salad, soup and bread that was yummy. Barsetti Vineyard's wine tasting room has been a long time favorite of ours since early inception..........she has created a classy venue on 4th Street with her tasteful decor and atmosphere. Not to be neglected in my comments are her dedication to the community by gifting us with a wonderful staff and opportunity to gather with family and friends in her tasting room or on her cozy outdoor patio as the sun gently sets on our community in "Beautiful Downtown" Galt. We have also have been fortunate with her choice for the house band on week-ends and events. Phil n' the Pinots are a local favorite and their family and talented band members have endeared us as well. Be sure and check out the historical photographs she has chosen to display which are a tribute to Galt's history and her family's contribution to our memories of this community. It's so close to Christmas that I called to see if they were still having live music. Yes they are, this little wine tasting room goes out of its way to make their folks happy. With food on Wine Down Friday, live music, also have sip and paint classes and a lot more for those of you that live close by. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD at a vineyard. My partner and I came from Sacramento on February 9 at 3:30pm for the chocolate and wine tasting event. We were told to bring food because they only served caviar. The women recommended the Velvet grill at the corner which was actually really good. The grilled cheese was amazing So with our food with us, we walked to Barsetti Vineyard and when we walked in, it seem as if it was a bar. We were told there was live music but the place was WAY to small to accommodate a full band. We didn't know whether to find a seat or look for somebody....very disorganized. I caught eyes with a woman which seemed to be the manager and was very rude to us. We were looked at and treated as if we were too young to come in. Extremely bizarre! After being carded very thoroughly I gave the woman my Groupon and she continued to redeem it. But As we looked around there was NO WHERE to sit and peacefully eat and wine taste. We then asked if we could come back later on so that we could sit and eat our food while it was still warm and the lady told us that they were CLOSING at 4:00 pm. She did offer is to come back another day but this day was specially planned for this event. I also checked their times and it CLEARLY say on all search engines that they close at 8:30 on Saturday's. We left feeling outcasted and they still charge me even though we NEVER sat down. I DO NOT recommend this place to any one. BEWARE !! read more

Barsetti Vineyards is a great place to drink wine and hang out with a group of friends. Every Friday and Saturday there is a live band for entertainment. I like coming in and trying their five tastings for five dollar deal. Barsetti has great employees who are very educated on the wine they are serving. I just came back from the official grand opening today with my wife. The place was packed with people standing outside. It is right by Velvet Creamery across the street from the railroad tracks. I don't drink wine but my Wife tasted the wines and stated that the best wine was the 2007 Merlot. I bought one bottle which was priced at $10.95. There was no fee for the tastings today but it is $5.00 normally. There was a real good vibe at this place . The people behind the counter serving the wine were all very nice despite how crowded it was. The place itself is nice but I wish they had more seating especially outdoors. Other than that, I will be going back here with my wife and I would recommend it as a good place to go to hang out and try different wines If your into that sort of thing. read more
