I am newly working in the city, and still learning the names of the cafes/restaurants near my office. When I have to run out to buy lunch, I essentially operate on muscle memory and just go to the places that I've visited with coworkers to grab something quickly. I've been here one other time with a group and remembered the location, but unfortunately not the name! I enjoyed the food previously which was fresh, delicious, and filling; exactly what I needed for my first meal all day! However, I did not realized that they close at 2pm and walked in about 1 min before close. Once I realized they were closing up, I pulled out my phone to find something else still open, but Ever so kindly told me not to worry and he would be happy to prepare my order. I ordered one of the standard bowls from their menu which I also did not realize was not super quick to prepare, but he did so with a smile and was extremely understanding. This cafe is also super adorable as it is a little tucked in on Montgomery, but the atmosphere is very inviting and spacious inside. The next time I go (well before close!) I will definitely eat in. To the staff, I apologize for being that person that comes in right as you are trying to wrap up your day, but your top tier customer service is very much appreciated! Thank you!

The worker was really nice and helped answer all my questions and helped me to narrow down my decision in picking the smoothie. I ordered the Slim Down since I was wanting a fruity tasting smoothie with high protein. It was not that satisfying; It really did not have much flavor (compared to a Jamba Juice smoothie for example), it just tasted like watered down, thick fruit juice. I guess it's what you'd expect for a "slimming" smoothie with 21g of protein and under 300 calories. You also get the gritty mouth feel of the protein powder. Overall, not worth the almost $14 I paid for it. I'd be interested in trying their other smoothies, though if they all lack in flavor like this one, I'd be very unsatisfied. I'd say, if you're wanting something that tastes healthier (and probably does have better health benefits) than Jamba Juice then it might be worth the try. I came here after a run and it did the job, but wouldn't be a consistent place for me to return to. Realistically, I'd give it more like 3.5 stars if I could.

Service was really friendly and I got my sandwich quick. But $17 is kinda steep considering there are other sandwich options in the Civic Center/Mid-Market/TL area. But I'd like to try their caprese sandwich and açaí bowls next time. The vibes in The Market is quiet and dark. I recall it's hey day, and it's a far cry from what it used to be. There's plenty of seating now, but it's just so bare. I hope they find a way to make the space exciting because the vendors inside deserve the foot traffic.

Their second location just opened on Aug 10, 2026 in San Francisco and offers salads, wraps, and smoothies. They have taken over the former Les Gourmands bakery, next door to Mr. East Cafe, in the Mosso apartment building at 5th and Folsom in SOMA. Salads start at $18, but only include 4oz of protein, so end up costing $23 with the extra chicken. Options include Crunchy Asian Salad, Hot Honey Chicken Salad, Mediterranean Salad, Southwest Salad, Strawberry Arugula Salad, and Caesar Salad. Each of these are also available in a wrap for $16. They also offer six smoothies for $9 each. Great for lunch, but with limited hours (11am-6pm M-F and 11am-2pm Sat-Sun) it's not really open for dinner. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly. Can't wait to come back more often!

I'm hungry just tapping out these ingredients. They have lots of other combinations including "Cheat Day" (mmm Nutella too!) FinnCinerator's had many times. Because I'm greedy I also ordered the "Great White" ahi bowl "piranha style" (spicy) that I could have later for dinner. It was a bit light on the ahi so I was slightly disappointed. It's such good quality tuna that I simply wanted more. There are other very good açaí businesses in San Francisco but Bowl'D Açaí satisfies like no other. The açaí was not too sweet (just how I like it), and I loved all the toppings that came with it such as the granola, banana, blueberry, coconut shavings, and honey. The strawberry was a bit too tart but other than that, everything was great. I think I've found my favorite açai spot in the city. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I stop by.

Although the service at "Cup of Joy" was a little lacking, with the cashier being a little stiff, the coffee here is very good. They also have space to sit inside, and outside. And it was a sunday, with this being one of the few coffee shops open past 5pm, for which i am very appreciative! :)
