Smoothies are amazing. Sandwiches look great but haven't tried them. The Champ is my favorite.

I'm so impressed with Palmetto Superfoods especially now that I've seen the set up…read more The freshness of the fruits and other ingredients like coconut, açaí, crunchy granola, chia seeds and peanut butter. You can choose from many ingredients and each bowl is assembled fresh to order. You order on an iPad which takes a minute to choose from all the possible ingredients, the size of the bowl or choose from a preset combination, pay and then wait for your bowl (or smoothie) to be assembled. My best advice is to order in advance because two people hustled with pick up orders, walk ins and online orders. I waited about 25 minutes after adding two custom bowls to the TGTG order that sent me in. Every surface of the small store was immaculate. I looked around and wondered how intense the set up each morning would be, dicing and slicing strawberries, kiwi, mango etc. Palmetto Superfoods is a complex operation and the bowls were (chef's kiss) delicious.

This location used to be my favorite but it is going down hill…read more Our orders have been wrong several times (ingredients switched between bowls), they have the side room where you used to be able to sit entirely blocked off and no more benches in front due to construction. They are also often out of certain ingredients (today the coconut milk syrup, previously GF oatmeal, blueberries, etc). Today there was only one poor person working trying to keep up with a long string of orders. I have never seen the same person here twice, so I imagine there is a lot of turn over. The workers are always very nice but seem frazzled. There is no ambience, it's two chipped benches that used to be white, a do not enter sign and basically nowhere to sit and eat.

I love açaí bowls, so when I saw that they had a happy hour sign (10am-2:30pm daily) for $12.99, I…read moredecided to stop by to grab one for lunch! This location is really close to my work, which was great. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and there were only a few customers inside. I like the simple decor and the big menu on the wall, it reminded me of Hawaii. I ordered the original gangster and waited less than 5 minutes before it was ready. The açaí was not too sweet (just how I like it), and I loved all the toppings that came with it such as the granola, banana, blueberry, coconut shavings, and honey. The strawberry was a bit too tart but other than that, everything was great. I think I've found my favorite açai spot in the city. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I stop by.

I love Bowl'd Acai! I remember going to their food truck pre-pandemic by Salesforce Tower…read more Their acai bowls are fresh, high quality, and large portions. I find the Green Goliath to be pretty unique, as well as the Original Gangster. I love the light, airy, and plant-filled interior. They also have some good "happy hours" for cheaper poke bowls, acai bowls, smoothies, and bone broths. Service is kind, friendly, and efficient. I love this location in Nob Hill? Polk Gulch? Very bikeable, walkable, and bus-able.
