You really must try the fish at chips at Barry's fantastic mobile Fish and Chip Van. The food is amazing, the best cod and chips I've ever tasted. The Fish is so fresh and moist, cooked just perfectly, the batter is so light and tasty. I never eat much of the batter and I ate it all! The chips are perfection, hard to describe just the perfect crispness and soft middle, you have to try them to understand, just brilliant. Great size portion and very keenly priced. Making my mouth water just writing this ! Angie and Barry are a great team they are really warm friendly people, they looked so smart in their uniforms, a smile for everyone. The New Van is amazing, so clean and shiny you could eat your fish and chips off it!!!! The art work/sign wrtting on the van is modern and fun. Great for any private party. Their attention to every aspect of their business is outstanding. We took our dinner down to the water front to eat and really enjoyed our evening, I would recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for something unique from a catering perspective for your party, you've found it; Barry's fish and chips really are absolutely superb. Barry and Angie catered for 60 or so of my friends for my birthday party from their absolutely immaculately presented fish and chip van. The fish and chips (and occasional saveloy!) were a resounding success and cooked to perfection, served with a smile and various accompaniments which went down a treat (mushy peas, curry sauce etc). In fact they were so good that a couple of friends even went back for more (not that the portions weren't big enough - some just couldn't resist, they really were that good!). Excellent fish and chips cooked to order. Barry and his wife very successfully catered for 160 family and friends at our party this weekend. All our guests were complimentary about the quality of the food whether they had the fish, sausages or scampi, they were also very helpful with regards those with special dietary needs. The van was spotless inside and out, as were their uniforms, all of which gave us added confidence in the standard of their service. They were both very friendly helpful and accommodating, they even took the rubbish away. What can I say ! We had Barry and Angie come to the house to cook for a post wedding rehersal party last Friday evening It was amazing. So fresh, so crispy and just perfect ! we had American visitors over who loved it and were very impressed with the quality of the fish and chips as were all the diners ! Ive just finished my lunch & I must say i'm not sure what Tanya is on about, she can't be further from the truth, the batter on the fish was crisp and tasty. You don't have a business running as long as they have if you serve bad over cooked dripping in grease food My ten year old son pesters me every Friday night to have "Barry's" for tea so it's not just my opinion that his food is great!
