Long wait and missing items. Rude delivery driver. Rang the shop to explain and was kept on the phone for half an hour. Drinks eventually came but still no chip butty. No refund or complimentary items offered. Not even an apology! read more

We just found this place and it's great. Fast and tasty. 8 of us had a couple varieties of Fish and Chips with other sides. Very well done

This is my chippy of choice when I go to visit family in Clacton. The food is very tasty. The chips are lovely and the portions are huge. Last night I had a takeaway from here and they got my order wrong. However, this was clearly a result of understaffing. The staff were working so hard to deal with customers while the arrogant, ignorant boss just stood around barking orders and treating his staff like something he had scraped off his shoe. I have never had a bad takeaway from this place. Would have been 5* if the owner wasn't such an ignoramus. read more

Whenever I'm in town this is the place I go for my traditional fish and chips, (not fish but battered sausage). I hear that the fish is just as good! The portions are great and the price is fairly priced. The staff aren't too shabby either ;) they do like to chat amongst each other which if it were stopped it might speed up the process of getting my dinner! read more

Alwaz get our fish & chips here & kebabs ! But again this is the 2nd time the kebabs were sub-standard 2 much sauce & tasteless meat ! Only warm we went in & ordered so should have been pipping hot ! We throw most of it away ! read more

My family use this chip shop all the time and whenever I go to clacton I do too. Staff are very friendly and the food is great. The portions are an excellent size. All in all I am yet to find a better chippy read more

Only gave it one star as I can't give them zero! Ordered cheese chips. Cold chips with NO CHEESE! Chicken burger not delivered. I had to call up to complain and then when it did turn up it was burnt, tiny, cold and with a donkey-spit amount of mayo. This business is a disgrace. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Expecting to see some of it again in about 2hrs... (Of what was digestible anyways...) read more
