I like Saturday evenings as buy in's support the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the caller is calm and patient (I.e. he doesn't call out numbers too quick or too crazy wild loud). Drinks are cheap, served by a great crew that's always up for a laugh and cheers. We are having my daughter's graduation party and it's not over the top expensive to use for a few hours. We played bingo there yesterday and it was cheap enough. I've never been to a bingo hall and the last time I played bingo was almost 20 years ago at a church in Massachusetts. The great thing is it wasn't just a bunch of "old guys" like some of the other Posts, but it seems like they are getting a good amount of younger Veterans to balance out the place. Plus, I really liked their long list of volunteer / charity work. So I joined.
