Sal, the barber likes to deal with certain type of people. If he feels you don't fit his ideal clientele, he would be very dismissive and/or skip your turn in favor of another customer. He has a lot of talent but his nonstop chattering with the "boys" and poor attitude prevents him from being a good barber. If Sal can stay silent and focus for the first 15 mins of cutting hair, I'm sure he can produce amazing work and finish the appointment in a timely manner.
