Sal, the barber likes to deal with certain type of people. If he feels you don't fit his ideal clientele, he would be very dismissive and/or skip your turn in favor of another customer. He has a lot of talent but his nonstop chattering with the "boys" and poor attitude prevents him from being a good barber. If Sal can stay silent and focus for the first 15 mins of cutting hair, I'm sure he can produce amazing work and finish the appointment in a timely manner. Until then, I'm bringing my business somewhere else.

Bonus at the end, no proper clean up once done. All head and clothes are in hair after.

Luck has it that there's a spot right in front There only one guy in the seat so I'm in the chair in ten minutes. The conversation has settled on health, with someone's mother being diagnosed with cancer. So we proceed to chat about alternative medicine. The barber, whose name I find out later, is Igor. He is quite knowledgeable and I remark about the wisdom found in the old barber shop. We cover a lot of information and Igor proceeds to give me a great haircut.
