I cannot recommend Key Boss Locksmith enough!…read more A friend had just dropped me off at home after a meeting. As he zoomed off, I opened my storm door without a problem! But when I tried the main door, the key would not turn. I was completely locked out. As a Yelp reviewer, I immediately searched for a locksmith and found Key Boss Locksmith. I called and was instantly connected with David. He was in Zionsville while I live in Broad Ripple, and he was finishing up another job. What impressed me right away was how communicative he was and howhe kept me updated on his timing and arrival so I wasn't left wondering. It gave me time to walk down to the grocery before he arrived. When he arrived, he almost magically got the door open using my existing key. But what truly set him apart was what happened next. Instead of just unlocking the door and leaving, he took the time to figure out why it had jammed in the first place. The opening where the lock connected was slightly too small, causing it to stick. At no additional charge, he carefully filed it down to prevent the issue from happening again in the future. That level of care and professionalism is rare. I also asked him for estimates on replacing the lock on my back door since I've lost those keys over time. His pricing was completely fair and transparent. David is not only highly skilled, but genuinely personable and professional. If you ever find yourself locked out or in need of locksmith services, Key Boss Locksmith is absolutely who you should call. Highly recommend!

I called and it was an automated process. I received a call back within a few minutes with the technician who reported he would be there within 25-30 minutes. He did report within that time frame. He was able to open the door quickly within a few minutes. The technician was not super friendly but he got right to it. I did appreciate the quick service, the huge downside for me was the price- it was $264 and the technician made a comment about adding a tip and when we didn't say anything he said I guess you aren't tipping me which felt a bit unnecessary especially considering the high price of the service. Life lesson learned to give your spare keys out as soon as possible to avoid this!

I needed my house locks changed. He provided all keys ordered and said he would invoice once he'd finished installing the deadbolt. All in, three locks and 6 keys was just around $200. Within a couple of days the part came in and Ethan finished up the job. I won't hesitate to call them for all future service needs. Thanks for the considerate service and great experience!

I knew the moment I shut my car door that I had locked my keys in the car. So, I climbed on Yelp and began checking out options. I saw Unlock Indy and the mostly positive reviews. I read the reviews including one from Dani, a fellow Yelp Elite whose vibes I generally trust. I called. Quick pick-up. Pretty casual. He was going to text me and I would text back the address. He did very quickly and I texted back. He said he'd be by in about 15-20 minutes. He made it in right about 20 minutes. I'd figured it would be a quick job and it was a quick job. He got in my car, saw the keys, and we were good to go. We had a fair price, not really a great price but a fair one, and he was able to accept cash, credit card, Venmo, or CashApp. I was having trouble getting into my Venmo (you could tell credit card was a bit more of a hassle, but we decided to go that route). He used Square and I got a text receipt confirming my payment. As much as I always hate to spend a decent amount for such an easy job, the truth is he couldn't have been much better. He arrived on time, got the job done, charged a fair price, was friendly, and the problem was ultimately solved. So yeah, I would definitely use again.
