Drinks. Great. Food. Magnificent. Environment. Phenomenal. Stop with the crappy country music though. Embrace the culture. Let's have musical fidelity. That's the only downside. Otherwise this is a fantastic to eat. We loved it. read more

The Juarez burger is excellent. The beef tacos are amazing. The fries are ok, they're just regular frozen fries. I would suggest they hand cut the fries The drinks are very pretty but just ok in taste. I'd be back for the food. read more

Food was okay, service was terrible. The shrimp tacos were just okay, no side with the tacos. Place was almost empty, yet we had to ask to order and ask for our check. Oh, and if you don't have cash, you pay a higher price. read more

Decided to stop by as I was close by. As soon as we got there we were served sweet bread, instead of the traditional chips and salsa; I thought it was a nice gesture. It was quiet there this morning so the order came out quite fast. I ordered huevos rancheros and they were delicious with a good amount of spicy. The French toast was good as these were not super sweet and had fresh strawberries on top. read more

Barrio Eats catered our informal wedding and everything was perfect! The food was terrific, guests loved everything they served, the price was more than reasonable and the service was top notch. We are so grateful for all they did to make our event special, would recommend to anyone! read more

The atmosphere and all is great! Ordered wings, fries and a mojito. The service was great, the water poured in a "tequila " like bottle was a nice touch, the REAL coasters (not paper) was also a nice touch. Good location if you're around the Plaza de Lagartos. The prices are well... reasonable. They were out of certain wing sauces, but they still managed to make the order and whip something up and the sauce tasted great. The wings were a good size (boneless) all chicken I do plan on going back/recommending. read more

Food was awesome. Ambiance was ok, could use some mood lighting. Drinks were amazing, especially the margarita!! Service was great.

Review in take-out: My mom was craving flautas ahogadas but my stomach cannot handle Chico's. I did a quick search for them on Yelp and Barrio Eats turned up. I called to place an order and I love that they have options: beef or chicken, red or green. We tried both sauces and while the red is more in the Chico's style, the green will be my go-to in the future. The flautas were crispy and held up under the sauce and cheese (maybe just a tad too much cheese--and two different kinds at that--but cheese lovers will celebrate). What surprised me most were the fries, they were outstanding! And usually fries soften under the moisture if the takeout containers but not these...I couldn't stop eating them. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and their menu is vast. Service was really friendly too. I look forward to eating inside in the not too distant future, but I may have a difficult time ordering anything but the flautas ahogadas! read more

First of all, we are out of towners and just happened to find this hidden gem. We were a group of 7 and we all tried different foods off the menu. No one had a complaint about their meals. Everyone said their dish was delicious! The service was great and for 7 of us the bill was also great! The portions are plenty and I would highly recommend if you haven't tried this place it's worth the trip to have a delicious brunch! I wish I had taken pictures but sorry, next time! read more

We enjoyed our food and the service was great. Unfortunately, it wasn't very family friendly. The whole time we where there (5:30pm - 6:30pm), relatively loud music (a speaker was right above our table) with explicit lyrics was playing. Some songs were extremely vulgar, if it was a video it would be a porno (an XXX porno). I thought it was inappropriate for a restaurant dinner service, and it made it difficult to enjoy my meal and conversation. After we ordered, a couple came in, sat down, and quickly left. I can't help but think they left because of the music. read more

Ambience is very laid back, food is ok. We ordered chips and queso.. the chips were very chiclosas and not crunchy at all. Queso was cold. The queso fundido with chirizo. Tasted very good. Good portion size with plenty of corn tortillas. I ordered the beef flautas ahogadas with both green and red sauce.. i was not impressed. Flavor was dull and nothing extraordinary for a 14 dollar plate. I had the paloma cocktail and the presentation was excellent, but the flavor was nothing extraordinary as well. Overall this place has a great appearance both inside the restaurant aw well as the food, but the flavor of the food was OK!! read more

Came here for breakfast one morning and no servers came to my table for 20 minutes so I left. I decided to come back the next day, I was able to get my order in the the omelette was greasy and the coffee was not regular coffee it was a caramel flavored even tho I had it black. Would not recommend for breakfast read more

Not sure if we came on an off day but service was terrible. 15 minutes just to get a drink, server was nice but extremely slow, & prices are way too high for the area/quality of food. They were also advertising happy hour on a day they didn't have happy hour. Wouldn't come here again. Food was good, but would rather go elsewhere for the price. read more

Great food and drinks. Neat design. Service was a little slow but will try again. Waitress was busy serving several tables.

$24 for enchiladas suizas! And I drank water! Enough said! we were on lunch break and it took us 1 1/2 hours to get lunch and pay. One of my coworkers didn't get her meal until the rest of us were almost done with our meals. No discount, no apology. Slow service. I would not go back. read more

My husband and I went for brunch and food was good my veggie crepe top with poblano crème was definitely better than his huevos rancheros, they needed more flavor. We would of enjoy our brunch more if it wasn't because they had the music super loud. For an indoor small place it was waaay to loud we ate fast just because of it. I do understand cool music is good for a brunch morning but come on that was club volume sort of thing. Aside from that I will go again just not on a Sunday brunch. read more

The food is amazing I absolutely love it I stop and eat here every time I'm in El Paso

"They put flavor in their food!" my colleague quipped as she satisfyingly swallowed a slice of the ribeye (medium rare, with a side of calabazas). We were a party of ten and ordered a wide selection of the menu, from bow tie pasta to the carnitas and nachos. The palomas were popular and came in mugs that reminded me of Winnie the Pooh honey jars. Mojitos were also a favorite. The ribeye was prepared well, the carnitas pork was a little dry and came with this salsa that needs a biohazard warning label: "burns like napalm...I wish my insides could cool down". For large parties, gratuity is automatically added to the bill, so take notice. read more

Today I went in for lunch. The place had some full tables but they served me quickly and happily. The vibe of the place is so relaxing with a mixture of modern and industrial chic. Good service and atmosphere, clean, and the food was good. Overall though, it's mostly overpriced Mexican food. I hate to be discouraging on a small business, because it wasn't bad. Maybe it was opening week jitters but it just wasn't anything amazing to go back and pay for. read more

Overall very disappointing. A group of three people had lunch here. On person ordered the chili colorado. It was a very deep dark red/ brown. Turns out it was the mole chicken. They did offer to correct the error but my friend thought it was pretty good. I ordered the carnitas and they were a major disappointment. The serving was 2 large chunks of meat. The problem was that they were dry with no crispy bits. I've had better from any number of meat markets. The corn tortilla were thin , tasted store bought, and fell apart as you unwrapped the foil they were steaming in. As others have noted, this place is pricey for lunch. They need to do better read more

The fish tacos were delicious very flavorful and the tortillas were thin and cooked to perfection. would highly recommend

Sad I didn't get a photo because the food looked so good, I couldn't wait. The food here is authentic as it gets; no Tex-mex here. This place is great, and new, and if you haven't been here yet, you don't know what you're missing. The green enchiladas are bomb, the salsa is kickin', the tequila is top-notch. I can't wait to come back here next time I'm in town. I'm erasing all the other "favorite" EP places in my history. This is it! read more
