I was looking for someone to help get some special treats and flowers to my niece and her family and didn't want to use an online deliver I wanted it to be more personal. I called every grocery, bakery, big box store and could not get any help. Then I found Danielle, Debbi's daughter and she jumped right in and took care of my needs. I am writing this with tears running down my cheeks, feeling the thoughtfulness and kindness they delivered. Not only did they take their flowers and candy boutique, they also went to the local bakery and picked up donuts and goodies and delivered too!! That is what I call Ultimate Customer Service!! Thank you Debbi and Danielle for all your help.

On Thursday, I ordered Mother's Day flowers online for next-day delivery. Within an hour, the florist called to let me know they don't normally deliver to that area. She asked if it would be okay to move the delivery to Saturday, when they'd have extra help available, and also asked whether they could make a few substitutions if certain flowers weren't in stock. The arrangement turned out beautiful and very close to what I originally ordered. I really appreciated the communication, flexibility, and extra effort to make the delivery happen on short notice for the busiest holiday of the year. Thanks for helping to make this a special Mother's Day for us.

I was ultimately disappointed with my service from this florist. I placed an order to be delivered…read moreto an office, but had to change the address as the recipient was not at his office that day. The florist had (understandably) already charged me for the original delivery. Because the new destination was further away, I was charged a second time with an additional $4 fee to make up for the mileage. This, too, I understood. However, the recipient ultimately picked up the bouquet, which was small, but fine bouquet. Unfortunately, it looked nothing like the bouquet I referenced when placing the order. For example, it should have had tulips. It did not. Still, I was OK with it. A few days later, I called the florist because I had been charged twice, both times for a delivery that did not take place as the flowers were picked up. I was told the first charge was canceled and to wait for my bank to reflect that. (Thus, I'm waiting. Perhaps my bank is slow to update.) However, I asked about the second charge which included a steep delivery fee for flowers that were picked up. I was told they "added" flowers to the bouquet to make up for the difference, but they could not tell me what flowers were added to what was a very small bouquet. (And remember, it should have included tulips. It did not. So what was added that was worth the extra money?) I explained that, as a customer, I would have liked a call regarding whether to add to my bouquet or refund my delivery fee. The florist simply kept repeating " I understand" and "We are happy to send you a receipt." In other words, my issue wasn't addressed. In the future, I will use other florists with more straight-forward business practices. I do not recommend this company, nor was I bowled over by the floral arrangement itself.

Lots of cute stuff, a hodgepodge of home decor, seasonal pieces and giftware. I stopped in here…read morelast week and saw a few cute items that I was interested in, but the sales staff were pretty wrapped up with some task behind the counter. They paid some attention to two people looking for a wedding gift, but never bothered to acknowledge that I was in the store. No greeting, no wave, nada. I thought that was a little odd. I was interested in some decor featuring a cute dragonfly theme, but opted not to buy it because I was completely ignored, which seemed pretty odd in comparison with my other very positive experiences in other retail shops along the downtown historic district. I looked around quite a bit, saw a few unique things at both high and lower end prices and plenty of run of the mill stuff that I could easily get at any TJ Maxx, Marshall's or even Home Goods, although not as much funky or hard to find items as I would've liked. Still, the store did have a few things I truly liked, but lack of customer service and ridiculous markups on mundane pieces (candles, vases, fragrances) that I can get anyplace else at low prices led to my walking out empty-handed, despite wanting the beautiful dragonfly art that I saw. As I headed out the door, I still elicited no response from the lady behind the counter or anyone else. No "goodbye, have a good day, stop in again," nada. It definitely felt odd and slightly unwelcoming. Oh well. I'd probably give them another chance in the future.
