I almost had a heart attack when this happened. That cost me $1,400.00. I had the 2nd leak in our bedroom shower and found 2 plumbers from the internet request. The first one wanted me to send him a picture of the fixture and he may get back to me by next week. NOT! I received a call from Tim from Georges plumbing. Great guy once he got my Irish name pronounced correctly. Not only did he show me how to fix these fixtures in the future, but he also noticed that our filter and pressure bladder were shot. To make a long story short, he and Dave replaced the filter, pressure bladder and fixed the shower head with not only a great attitude, but with many years of experience and speed. Our first experience with Plumbums was excellent - we had an emergency issue, Jim was able to come…read moreout within an hour or two and get it fixed, and he was on his way. When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.

Visit 2-2 other units started to blow warm air, he's said needed Freon-a possible leak, but was ok a couple days before? He recharged, and put a dye in the system-with a sealer (which I now know ruined my system). Next day, all units stopped working. Visit 3-he spoke with tech support and recommended u replace the entire system. He had not returned texts or communications, completely ghosted us! Come to find out. Putting a sealer in this type of system RUINS it. So of course he won't call back because he knows what he did, ruined my 15,000 dollar system. So, went from one head blowing weak to a ruined system...and he runs and hides from what he did. Do not trust!
