I knew once I met her and Dr Speyer that this is where I wanted to stay as a patient during pregnancy and afterwards.

After dealing with infertility for over 7 years, I truly never thought I would be able to conceive. Dr. Fady Sharara changed my life for the better--he gave me hope when I felt like there was none, and I will forever be grateful for that. His expertise, compassion, and dedication made all the difference for me. I'm so thankful for the protocol he created that worked for my situation, and I genuinely hope he can continue to help others who are just like me find their own success and happiness. A huge thank you to his wonderful nurses, Jill and Jessica, who were always there with kindness, patience, and reassurance whenever I needed it most. They made such a difference in my experience. I also want to recognize Maggie and Trisha at the front desk. No matter what kind of day I was having, they always greeted me with warmth and a smile, making me feel welcome and cared for. This journey isn't always easy, but having a team like this behind you makes all the difference. I'm beyond grateful for everyone at VCRM for their support and dedication, and I'm so excited for this new chapter ahead.

After the consultation with him and interacting with the staff, my husband and I trusted him to help us on our fertility journey. Dr. Sharara is very knowledgeable and an expert in the field, which made me feel comfortable and confident in putting our trust in him. I appreciated that he did a very thorough and comprehensive diagnostic work up to figure out the best treatment plan. As someone who is also in the healthcare field, I very much appreciate having more data. The nurses (Ava and Jessica), billing coordinator (Trish), and other staff (Maggie) were also wonderful. Compared to the brief experience that I had with a large fertility clinic, VCRM felt like a white glove service. I graduated this week from the clinic at eight and a half weeks pregnant and am incredibly grateful to Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM team for their guidance, care, and support. I know that I'm very lucky to have only had to do one round of IVF and for the first transfer to be successful. Dr. Sharara gave me agency to decide when to start IVF (I personally didn't want to spend much time doing IUI) and was supportive of all my decisions as long as they were medically sound. I highly recommend Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM staff!

She is zero help with menopause. She claimed to prevent osteoporosis with a FemHeart and then mocked me by bending over like a 90-year-old to walk out when I had it by late 50s and sent me down the hall to her doc friend who practiced his golf swing in my appointment for drug infusions. She knows nothing about weight lifting exercises that prevent it. An acquaintance won a lawsuit for punctured uterus and intestine about which she lied to the ER that she caused which misled their care.

If you are concerned about your age, weight, fertility, etc. do your self a favor and find someone else who will be kinder and less fat phobic. She's incredibly unprofessional and rude. I especially do not recommend seeing Dr. Hersh if you are struggling with infertility, have PCOS, or are overweight/obese. On my first visit for PCOS she painted the absolute worst case scenario for fertility, telling me I would likely need to spend up to $50,000 on IVF to conceive my first child if I don't lose weight. This was before reading any of my medical records or talking to me about my concerns. I'm all for realistic information and don't want things sugar coated, but Dr. Hersh was thoughtless and hurtful. Further, I'm 34 and she told me I needed to freeze my eggs asap or else my kid would be more likely to get a host of terrible genetic conditions. I got several other opinions and they were all much more fact based on risks and said at this point my husband and I didn't need to worry about freezing my eggs upon actual medical testing. They were so much more positive and kind. Dr. Hersh also did not give me any warning before putting the clamps in during my appointment. Also the nurse couldn't figure out how to draw my blood and it took many mess ups and a supervisor to get it out. Of course it sometimes take a few tries but this was not normal.

Dr. Jeffery was amazing, she's a bit brash but she is seriously intelligent and dedicated to keeping you healthy and making sure you have the best outcome. Very up front about what is going on and what needs to happen, yes my birth "plan" went out the window but my birth goal was to have a healthy baby! Dr. Kula is the OB who was on call when I my water broke 3 weeks early. Again no back and forth from her or my nurses on what needed to happen, I wasn't progressing and needed to be induced. I'm glad because my daughter needed to get out and not be stuck waiting. She had one moment of HR drop and Dr. Kula was right there handling everything with the team of nurses. She recovered and everything progressed well from there leading to delivering a healthy baby girl! I highly recommend Dr. Kula and Dr. Jeffery at OB/GYN Hospitalists of Loudoun.

Even getting blood taken or shots is no big deal because Ms Donna has years of experience and gets it done quickly while ensuring you are comfortable and smiling. This is my 2nd pregnancy with this practice and I have had the pleasure of meeting with each of the doctors and even the nurse practitioner, Mary Hogan. Everyone is great but by far my favorite doctor is Dr Dulai. She is no-nonsense, matter-of-fact, yet super sweet. I felt like I could openly talk to her about any concerns or issues as if she was my own caring mother. She doesn't push you to do anything you are uncomfortable with and explains all your options. She delivered my first child and look forward to her being there to deliver my 2nd.

This is extremely problematic and life threatening. Some of their nurses, especially young nurses, have not had enough training in how to speak with the elderly in order to not upset them. And I perpetually see their nurses in some units engaged in discussions having nothing to do with the work at hand or their patients. I am very impressed with their hospitalists, who work very hard. I am most impressed with their infectious diseases physicians and nephrologists. The cafeteria SHOULD be open PAST 2PM, especially in deference to their doctors. This is ESSENTIAL, given surgeries are performed by many doctors there. For a doctor to have to BRING THEIR LUNCH, it is utterly rediculous. Reston Hospital FAR EXCEEDS Inova Loudoun in that regard.
