The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, including bar seating, an outdoor patio, and booth-style seating, making it spacious enough to accommodate both small and large groups. The food was delicious! We started with the chips and salsa, guacamole, and queso, and everything was flavorful and fresh. My taco entrée was filling and came with rice and beans, making it a satisfying meal. I also loved the presentation--the food was just as appealing to look at as it was to eat. The staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming, which made the overall experience even better. If you're looking for a vibrant spot with good food, a fun atmosphere, and plenty of seating, Agave Bandido is worth checking out-- check out the speakeasy too.

Started off with the complimentary chips and salsa before diving into the half-off taco platters. I got the Mojo Chicken (pico, avocado crema, cilantro) and the Blackened Shrimp (pineapple salsa, chili aioli, pickled cabbage) with a side of Mexican rice. Both were genuinely top-tier and easily the standout of the entire meal. My eyes were clearly bigger than my stomach because I also ordered the Mexican Smash Burger (double patty, guac, pico, battered jalapeños, cheese on brioche, plus Tajín fries and chipotle queso). It was really good, but heavy enough to shorten your life expectancy by a few years. I was already done after the tacos, so most of the burger ended up in a to-go box. The only downside was the bar. I ordered a drink with the food, but it took so long that I ended up having to cancel it before it ever made it out. Great food and solid prices on Tuesday. Just order your drinks early and don't over-order like I did. I'll be back.

The hotel itself, if you walk through, is clean and well tender to. There is a bar on the main floor as well...but why do that when you can get a view instead?! The bar area is pretty nice sized. The bar top can fit about 10, but there is other seating all around the room. There are tables and kind of plush areas to sit, but the big draw is the outside. The view looks right at the busy area of Dunwoody and you can see the skyline of other cities around it too. The ambience is chill, not your typical turn up type of spot. They have music playing and a few large TV's as well. Aiden took care of me soon as I sat down. She was friendly and made sure to give me good conversation while I waited. Irish espresso martini - she did good with it. Good presentation and very balanced. Peri wings (lemon pepper) - they were aight. Nothing super crazy to write home about. They were a little small as well. Pretzel bites - They were pretty good. A decent snack, but nothing that I would rush to try again. Overall, I would come for the views and the vibes. Probably wouldnt say to plan to be here for the food, but a cocktail with that view would be clutch!

The atmosphere is upscale and modern, with elegant decor and tall ceilings with tons of light. The plating and silverware is also spot on. I've visited Mikata Sushi twice now, about two months apart, and I have quite a few thoughts! There…read morewere definitely some highlights, but a few things left me underwhelmed. Let's get into it! Yellowtail - 6/10 If you know me, you know yellowtail is MY FISH! I absolutely love yellowtail, and honestly, I enjoy it in just about any presentation. However, something about this one was a little off for me. The cuts were noticeably thicker than what I typically prefer. The flavor was there, but the overall appearance and color of the fish didn't give me the same quality impression I've gotten from other yellowtail experiences. What makes this more interesting is that I ordered it on BOTH visits, and unfortunately, I had the same impression each time. I wanted to love it because yellowtail is easily one of my favorite fish, but it just wasn't giving what I'm used to. Steak Fried Rice - 7/10 WOWWW! This was probably the biggest surprise of the entire experience. This is some of the best fried rice I've had in a WHILEEEE! The flavor profiles were EVERYTHING. I could actually taste the individual ingredients, but somehow everything came together beautifully. You know when a song comes on and every single beat hits exactly where it's supposed to? That's how this fried rice tasted! Now, why the 7/10 instead of higher? THE YUM YUM SAUCE. I honestly feel like it did more harm than good. The sauce had more of a mayonnaise-like taste, and I felt it took away from what was already really good fried rice. I wish I had ordered it without the sauce the first time around. I actually regret not getting it on my first visit, but I'm so happy I finally tried it on my second! Shrimp Tempura - 5/10 This one was pretty forgettable. The shrimp was very crispy, which I appreciated, but the ponzu sauce it came with threw off the overall flavor for me. Something about the combination just didn't quite come together. The flavor wasn't fully there, and while it wasn't necessarily a bad dish, it definitely wasn't something I'd go back specifically to order. Nothing particularly memorable. Margarita Roll - 10/10 YESSSSS! NOW THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! As a YELLOWTAIL LOVER, this roll understood the assignment! This is a raw roll, and the fish was SO flavorful. Everything about this roll worked for me. The flavor, the overall experience, just everything! I ordered this on BOTH visits, and both times it delivered. That's how you know it's good when you come back and immediately order the same thing again. Easily my favorite item at Mikata. If I returned, this would absolutely be on my order again. My Spending First Visit: * Margarita Roll * Yellowtail * Total: $50 Second Visit: * Shrimp Tempura * Yellowtail * Steak Fried Rice * Margarita Roll * Total: $80 Service & Overall Experience - 6/10 Now, let's talk about service because this definitely impacted my overall experience. First Visit: I'd honestly give the service a 0/10. My waiter took an extremely long time to bring out my dishes, and my yellowtail was slightly warm by the time it arrived. Second Visit: I sat at the sushi bar, and I believe one of the managers assisted me. The difference was noticeable! Not necessarily because he was a manager, but because he was attentive. You can literally see the food coming out on the sushi bar, and he actually took the time to pay attention and make sure my dishes made it to me. During my first visit, my waiter would see food come out, walk right past it without saying anything, and head back into the kitchen. I noticed that same lack of attentiveness again during my second visit. It wasn't a matter of the restaurant being too busy; it was a matter of someone taking the time to pay attention to their customers and the food coming out. I really appreciated the assistance during my second visit because it made everything move much faster. Final Thoughts Overall, I'd give Mikata a 6/10. The Margarita Roll was a 10/10 experience, and the steak fried rice was a pleasant surprise. However, the yellowtail consistency and service definitely brought down my overall rating. Would I return? Possibly! But I already know exactly what I'm ordering: that Margarita Roll!

I went in with one clear goal: the filet mignon. Five of us ordered steaks, most medium-rare, but the kitchen execution was inconsistent across the table. One steak came out overcooked to well done, another was undercooked closer to rare, while mine was prepared correctly. Unfortunately, consistency was the main issue. The steaks had a good sear and flavor, but several were on the dry side. The highlights of the meal were the starters and sides. The crispy calamari was excellent and easily the standout dish. The crab dip was also well received by the table. The bread that comes with the salads deserves special mention as well, light, slightly sweet, and very fresh, melts in your mouth. The side salads were also great. For my entrée sides, the carrots were well prepared, but the brussels sprouts were undercooked and lacked seasoning, I like a little more flavor especially on my brussels. Dessert brought the meal back up. The apple-pie-ala-mode and brownie with ice cream were both excellent and a strong finish to the evening. Service throughout the night was very good. Our waiter was attentive, efficient, and quick to clear plates. He removed the dirty dishes quicker than a UPS driver working peak-season overtime. The only downside was the dim lighting, which made it a bit difficult to see clearly at times. Overall, while the appetizers, service, and desserts were strong, the inconsistency in steak preparation kept the experience from matching the price tag. Sorry Joey - 3 out of 5 stars

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

A huge shout-out to our server, Oscar, who made the entire experience even better. He was attentive, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the kind of service that keeps you coming back. The ambiance deserves just as much praise. The music, décor, and overall atmosphere created a sophisticated, grown-and-sexy vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed date lunch. It's one of those places where you can enjoy amazing food, great cocktails, and simply take your time. Casi Cielo has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!
