The decision to have a face lift was difficult because I had heard that it was extremely painful and being in the medical field, the idea of this type of procedure terrified me. After going to consultations with many surgeons, it was an easy decision to go forth with the surgery after meeting with Dr. Z and his staff. The initial appointment was easy to schedule, and I was very satisfied with everything from the location, affordability, professionalism of his office staff, and his personal evaluation and details of the procedure. He was extremely patient with my questions and concerns. After seeing him, I wanted this to be done ASAP! All my appointments were scheduled ahead of time. I was given specific instructions on medications pre and post-surgery, with detailed explanations of what to expect day of surgery, post recovery, and beyond. The procedure went very well; the pain was minimal and not at all what I had imagined. Recovery time is different for everyone, however, there is not a time when I ever worried about the end result. It's been 2 months. My face looked better after 2 weeks and keeps looking better every day. I am no longer avoiding mirrors and photographs as this has increased my confidence in all areas of my life... I no longer feel like some old lady.... This gift to myself was the best decision I ever made. Dr Z is not only a plastic surgeon with many years of experience, but he is also a true artist who gave me back 20 years of my life.

In 2024 I went to the office for my appointment and was told it had been cancelled and they has called me to tell me that. They had never called and I showed them my phone with all my calls and there was nothing from them. Arrogantly, they told me I was wrong and they were right. Last year, I was having visual migraines and was told by my neurologist that I needed to see Dr. Lang, so I called to make an appointment. I was told I could not see him and would have to make an appointment with one of their optometrists, not what I needed to see. When I finally was able to see Dr. Lang on my scheduled appointment, I told him this story and he said it was totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, he has no understanding off what is going on in his front office. Finally, I have an appointment with Dr Lang in May of this year that I need to reschedule as I will not be in the state that month. I called to reschedule the appointment and they have told me that I cannot reschedule this appointment as he has no availability in any of his four offices for the remainder of the year. I asked if I could make an appointment early next year and was told that was not possible, yet my wife had an appointment with him this past week and they scheduled and appointment for her a year from now. . So I guess if you cannot make your scheduled appointment with this practice you can never get another appointment. This is not a way to run a doctors office and these people are as incompetent as any staff I have ever dealt with. Hopefully, Dr Lang can read this review and see what his front office staff is doing to his practice.

I went to all of my father's eye appointments and Dr Lang was always so kind and patient. He explained all of my father's problems and treatments so that we could understand. One thing that really stood out to me was that Dr Lang goes above and beyond for his patients. He saw my father on a weekend for a follow up when the office was closed because he felt it was urgent. I will never forget Dr Lang for his humanity, his kind and quiet demeanor. He is an angel sent from above. Thank you Dr Lang and I will definitely pay forward to my patients as a pediatric nurse.

They would not give me a refund! The are I really wanted gone had no effect because it was not done thoroughly. Full Experience: I went in January 2023 for laser hair removal. I had my consult with the secretary because the laser tech was in an appointment, I would have rather met the actual tech. I bought a package for the bikini area. At the appointment, I noticed that the tech did not outline the area to be covered. I told the tech I wanted to keep a "racing strip", which I had cut short but did not shave off. The tech told me not to open my legs!? So I sat with knees in bent position and the crease didn't get any laser. She started in a back and forth row pattern on the top left side but then did a brisk pulse down the labia. On the right ride, the tech (Lynn) did not do a "row" pattern and just lasered random spots. Then she hit my racing strip with two pulses and now I have two circular bald spots!!! I'm livid! She didn't pay attention to detail at all. The labia area and crease had zero effect at all. Probably because it was not done thoroughly. Do not go to Skinsational for laser hair removal treatment!

Their prices are reasonable and straight forward. They also offer promotional deals such as free underarms with purchase of bikini laser package. Everybody gets the same price and the same package no matter what skin tone or hair type you have - other places I called said the price goes up based on this criteria which made no sense to me. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the laser itself is painless. I definitely recommend Skinsational to anyone considering laser hair removal.

I went to Perlman to have lasik eye surgery. Luckily he only did one eye because he had trouble…read moredoing the left eye. The next day, I still couldn't see out of the right eye. After yelling at me in the office because I could not read the chart, he stomped out and let his asst. speak with me. Well here it is 2 1/2 yrs later and the damage in my right eye is permanent. Went to MA eye and ear and my only solution is corneal transplant. Perlman's resolution to my problem: 2 special design contacts for the eye he destroyed. Once I put on my glasses (for which no lens can be made for the damaged eye) , I am virtually blind in the right eye. And all Perlman did was get mad at me!! Keep your eye sight - do not go to this doctor.

The Rhode Island Eye Institute is an excellent facility and I encourage folks to seek an eye doctor…read morebecause they have many specialist and is through about eye exams. I do warn you that this eye clinic is extremely crowded with patients and the wait time is extremely long. The reception people aren't the friendliest either. They could be rude at times. I'm speaking on behalf of parent and my observations are: 4 stars for Dr. Perlman's skills as an eye doctor and surgeon. 2 stars for his bedside manners. If you don't speak english well, he tends to ignore you and says very little about your eyes been examined. I would not recommend Dr. Perlman as a primary eye care but the other eye doctors are kind and patient. My parent has seen two other doctors while Perlman was on vacation. He's an excellent eye surgeon if your looking for cataract sugery then I'll recommend him but not for a primary eye doctor. I think he's a bit snobby.

Getting appointments with the practice has been notably smooth throughout my time with them; the staff is willing to work with you based on your needs and clinician availability. I've also enjoyed seeing a few of the other practice members (eg Benitez, Berg, Rodriguez), each of whom is thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. The use of the Healow medical app as a portal, and their fully integrated connectivity to electronic medical record systems, has given me peace of mind that all my instances of care are suitably connected in one place. It's also convenient to be able to head downstairs for a quick and easy blood draw when required - and again, clear results are available in the app shortly thereafter. I've also noticed the patient set is younger than it used to be - not just geriatrics anymore. As important as anything above, Dr Ruggieri is friendly and engaged during visits, as the rest of the staff I've dealt with are also. I definitely have a "medical home" at Wayland Medical.
