I guess it is a good thing that we are starting to see a number of craft breweries appearing in the…read morewine growing regions, namely because not everybody is a wine connoisseur, and as such having a place to sample some nice beers is pretty good as well. This place is actually a winery, but they have branched out to beers as well, and I have to admit that the beers here are pretty good. It is also a lovely location, surrounded by bushland, and it has a real peaceful feel about it as well. Yeah, quite charming.

GEM!!!!! Try the Bulls Eye APA, King Kong Stout, Miss Molly Malone Grape Cider, Monkey's Uncle Red Ale, and the best craft mid-strenth called The Fuzz. They also have an awesome Mocha Stout that I havent seen in bottles called "Bring Out The Gimp" that is avaialble at the H&V. I learn that Ben Jeanneret recently got James Halliday status for being amongst the Ten Dark Horse Wineries of 2015, and the Clare Valley Brewing Co range picked up a bag of medals at the recent Royal Adelaide Beer Awards. After this visit I can certianly see why, I really recommend that you head to Auburn and visit these guys, or at very least look out for their great drops in town.

All the brewing action happens on site out the back. Try the tasting paddles. They have basic beer snacks available to purchase and filtered water to cleanse your palate between tastes. They also have coffee by common ground roasters and a merchandise area! Come check it out! x

I absolutely love these guy's beers, despite the fact that they do happen to be owned by one of the…read morebiggest breweries in the world (Anheuser Busch). Still, they make some pretty awesome craft beers, and I have not problems whatsoever going and having a drink at the pub, or at least the ones that have their beers on tap (and having a massive brewer at their back means that there are a few). So, I ended up at their brewery with my friend and yeah, it was pretty awesome. Not only did they have some great beers on tap, but there was some other quirks as well, including a barbers shop, which honestly, is something that I have never seen in a brewery before. Yeah, definitely worth checking out.
