Their Adelaide map tables are a beautiful touch and if you sit and while away the time here you will notice the intricate attention to detail that has been put into this place from the owl calendar to the Cry Me A River painting above the bar. The Friday and Saturday night drinks list is bias towards South Australian beers and wines and how could you fault them on that? Meanwhile the only spirit served in the bar is gin. And in my humble opinion I can't see why you would ever drink anything else. The selection of gin and cocktails on the menu have clearly been created by a keen gin lovers hand and I'm looking forward to/hope they will offer *cough cough* gin appreciation classes or opportunity to tell you about gin behind from behind the bar soon! Don't let just the eye catching cabinet of sweets and savouries from Steven Ter Horst, "Abigail" and Willabrand distract you. these guys also have tasting platters they can put together for you and cheap as breakfast treats under $10! It was a really chilled out vibe which is ok in general but maybe a bit too relaxed that the wait staff did not even clear up our plates until we left so we had to sit chatting after we had finished with our dirty plates in front of us. The main area I front of the stage is sunken, so plenty of room for dancing, or for the people around the edge to See over. An ample size stage for bands and choirs, and a huge greenroom area upstairs, that doesn't have you clambering over audience and ruining any costuming surprises. The inhouse PA is a pretty sweet inhouse system. A roof mounted projector makes for showing your slides and videos while you take up all the stage without making all the shadows too! Out in the bar side, the cracking fire and comfy couches while you knock back one of the beers from the local selection and munch down on some tasty snacks, and maybe if you're in for a bit of nostalgia, play a round or three on the pinball machine.

You will be greeted with a smile and you might even get a handshake. Ryan & Fil are amongst the coolest brewers in town. From Video Game Designers to Brewers, they have such a great success story to tell. In fact, I think it is quite inspirational for those who are looking to get into the industry. Changing your career into something that you really love is always a challenge. But with drive and determination, you can really achieve your dreams. After having to leave the games industry due to the GFC, Ryan took on working in the beer industry and Fil in refrigeration mechanics. In their spare time, they brewed for fun. Just like you would in learning skills to reach the next level in a video game; these two had an epiphany (I am sure after some beers) about combining forces to create one mega-craft-beer-force that Little Bang is today. Unlike other breweries they had the skills to make the equipment they needed which made it a lot more affordable. So, that is exactly what they did. Well, after having to convince their wives of course. And I am sure glad they did. These brews are great and are quickly earning their stripes. As for this Venue, this is a great spot for groups. But, remember don't expect anything fancy, this is a place to chill and relax. There are tables inside and out. Their full range of beers are on offer and you can get a paddle to give them all a go for $15. Need munchies with your beer? They also make their own pickles which are really good. Or you can order some pizza from a nearby joint with free delivery. What are my fave beers on offer? I am a big fan of their Freezer Cleaner. But that is of course going to change in flavour over time. I do also like their Chocolate Porter which is lighter than expected and easy to drink. Give their Happy Land Summer Ale a go if you like something lighter. It's got a lot more flavour profile than others I have tried. Quite floral and almost a little sweet.
