The Clark Sports Center is a beautiful facility and meets the needs of all who crave fitness and…read moresports. This is my go to haven when visiting from South Florida. I love the indoor running track and wish I had a similar option at home. This is a million times better than running on a treadmill! I've enjoyed it on rainy summer days as well as snowy winter mornings. The fitness center is also very nice and quite large. There is ample equipment and it is extremely clean. I like the Clorox (or Lysol) wipe stations available throughout the facility. There are plenty of mirrors for checking form when lifting and lots of cardio equipment options. Additionally, I enjoyed the large glass windows when I used the treadmill one winter morning. The view is spectacular! The fitness center and running track are the only options I've taken advantage of when in town; however, the class schedule and rock climbing wall both look dynamite. I may give either or both a whirl when I return this summer. Lots of options are available so check it out online and day and weekly passes are available for purchase. This place is clean and had early morning hours and had the right equipment that was needed for us - it's better than what they had at the courtyard. My son did say there were some people were more about tapping really loud than lifting weights, but who cares tbh.

I got a weeks pass for 30$ which I feel is pretty affordable. The gym has up to date equipment and the workout area was very clean. The only equipment they were missing was kettle balls. They also have a trainer on hand if you have any questions about any of the machines. This gym also has a pool and workout classes. I would come here again. The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel very welcome. The only negative is the bathrooms were nasty. The toilet seats needed to be replaced. I know this gym is not cheap so I know FOXCARE can afford it.

Three Mile Point is a small, local municipal park located a few minutes outside of Cooperstown…read morecenter. Locals enter for free. Otherwise, it is $5 per person. A small, laidback little beach for catching a swim in Lake Otsego. There are lifeguards on duty. One side is for swimming- it is roped off- not too large but enough-and it has depth enough for diving off of dock. The other side is for fishing. There are some picnic tables, benches, and a few Adirondack chairs on the swim side. Bring a blanket or folding chairs for your hang. So pretty and peaceful. There is a pavilion on the fishing side with several picnic tables. There is a changing cabana with multiple stalls right off the beach. And, there are restrooms right above beach. Parking lot is not vast- maybe fits around 20 cars. But, that's about as busy as it gets. If it's a hot day and you're up for a dip or just enjoy the beauty of the gorgeous lake and you're visiting Cooperstown area, check it out.
