I was told to prepay for a months worth of lessons which I had no problem with. However, I was not told that my deposit was month specific. I had a serious medical issue arise and I had to postpone my first lesson. I gave the school over 24 hours of notice and all seemed fine. Unfortunately I was unable to make the following lesson because of the same medical issue. When I went to reschedule my first lesson, I was told that I needed to pay for another month's worth of lessons. When I questioned the school, I was told that I had violated my contract and I was to pay for another month if I wanted to continue with lessons. I questioned the school about the contract and stated that I have never signed a contract nor had I agreed to any terms. After being out $160 and being told I needed to pay more I decided to cut my losses. I'm disappointed that a school that seems to have a pretty good reputation would treat a customer this way.

No big deal except that the store proceeded to charge me for a 4th month of lessons well knowing that this instructor would not be available for lessons. Again I asked the store manager why I have not received it and all he does is blame upper management. I asked to speak with upper management and was given ridiculous excuses as to why I could not with a smug attitude. I tried calling headquarters and am placed on an endless hold. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Aaron was my son's drum teacher for almost two years (7th-8th grade). Before we even had the first…read morelesson, he helped us with recommendations for drum sets; we found a great deal on high-quality used set, a brand Aaron had mentioned. Once lessons started, he patiently worked with our son, taking him from a complete beginner to a competent drummer, able to participate in his school's advanced band. We truly appreciated his flexibility with scheduling, since our son's extracurriculars changed each season. Aaron was prompt and always polite. Our son definitely enjoyed his lessons. What we particularly liked about Aaron was how he approached teaching. Instead of sticking to just one style of music, he had our son playing many different genres of pieces - rock, jazz, classical - and learning to read the accompanying music, as well. We had fun with listening each week to the tunes he chose for our son. Aaron is not at all intimidating, so it was very easy for our son to get right into the lessons. Drummers are generally pretty laid back, so they make for pretty "chill" instructors! All in all, we had a very good experience with Aaron. Our son switched teachers this year, only because he is able to take lessons at his school now. We would absolutely recommend him to others!

Definitely think twice before choosing to buy an instrument with this company. When large multinational corporations buy small, local businesses, the quality always goes down hill. __________________ A small company asking for a very premium price on their horns...BE CAREFUL!! This is a young company, less than 20 years in the horn making business, but they somehow feel entitled to demand a very high price for their horns. I've tried FOUR TIMES to reach someone at this company that knows anything substantial about their horns, and every time I've called, the person I needed to speak to was either not there or unavailable. They are not very forthcoming in explaining how some of their designs are innovative or better than the more well-known brands. I have always gotten nebulous answers like...our horns are more open, our tolerances are better, our horns are more consistent, our overtones are richer, etc. These are all nice explanations to sell horns, but when someone asks them to explain or show why they believe their rotor designs are better, they don't answer. They are not a very transparent company in answering a customer's questions - they even hide their prices from view online. And this lack of openness is a red flag for me, especially when they are asking over $1000 more for the same instrument made by other well--known instrument companies. Bottom line...if you are not getting the answers you need to hear or you are getting very vague answers, that should be a clear sign to keep shopping around.
