Once lessons started, he patiently worked with our son, taking him from a complete beginner to a competent drummer, able to participate in his school's advanced band. We truly appreciated his flexibility with scheduling, since our son's extracurriculars changed each season. Aaron was prompt and always polite. Our son definitely enjoyed his lessons. What we particularly liked about Aaron was how he approached teaching. Instead of sticking to just one style of music, he had our son playing many different genres of pieces - rock, jazz, classical - and learning to read the accompanying music, as well. We had fun with listening each week to the tunes he chose for our son. Aaron is not at all intimidating, so it was very easy for our son to get right into the lessons. Drummers are generally pretty laid back, so they make for pretty "chill" instructors! All in all, we had a very good experience with Aaron. Our son switched teachers this year, only because he is able to take lessons at his school now. We would absolutely recommend him to others!

I came in and Ted immediately recognized my voice and my need. He pointed me to one of the cheapest guitars and when I heard the tune of it (compared to my old one) I knew I had to have it! I was so eager to take it home I almost forgot to grab a case to move it with. I checked out the soft cases and wasn't really vibing with them and then I turn around and Ted pops out with this feaux alligator skin wrapped hard case, guitar already in it and ready to go. I all but gave up on the thing until my friends told me about Cranky's. For a very reasonable fee, Greg worked on the frets, tremolo, tuning heads, saddles, and gave it a thorough cleaning. She now plays BETTER than in 1995, and I'm happy to report has taken its place as my main axe again! As far as I'm concerned, this is the only place that I will trust with my dearest guitars. I wish I could say that this is a good school, but I can't. The owner was nice when I spoke over…read morethe phone but it's been a nightmare since. I was told to prepay for a months worth of lessons which I had no problem with. However, I was not told that my deposit was month specific. I had a serious medical issue arise and I had to postpone my first lesson. I gave the school over 24 hours of notice and all seemed fine. Unfortunately I was unable to make the following lesson because of the same medical issue​​. When I went to reschedule my first lesson, I was told that I needed to pay for another month's worth of lessons. When I questioned the school, I was told that I had violated my contract and I was to pay for another month if I wanted to continue with lessons. I questioned the school about the contract and stated that I have never signed a contract nor had I agreed to any terms. After being out $160 and being told I needed to pay more I decided to cut my losses. I'm disappointed that a school that seems to have a pretty good reputation would treat a customer this way.

No one there seemed to remember my order. Ok no big deal, people make mistakes and this wasn't a big one. So I put my order IN AGAIN. Called back in two WEEKS and again no one had any clue about my order so I just hung up and went over to Walpole music down the street and they had my new pups in my guitar in one week and they sent it out to a tech. A few years later I was driving by again and decided to stop for some strings. I got three packs of strings at 6.99 each and somehow it came out to 26.00 dollars. I didn't do the math until I got home ( miles away not worth the drive back for a few dollars) and realized why I didn't get a receipt. Conclusion: if you're not dropping thousands of dollars there you're not a musician or customer in their eyes.
