I love wondering through book stores and seeing what is available. Place is very spacious with a good selection of books. Their travel selection is not big as other stores. Check out staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely worth the time to stop in and pick something up to read instead at the airport. read more

This is our place for studying, doing homework, or just reading... Those comfortable seats usually wind up being my place to nap sometime.. Tables with plugs for our phones and tablets is a pretty good convenience, but it also leads to longer stays than planned. My daughter prefers to come here to do her homework. It's either here or the library. Both provide an environment that keeps the boredom away that sometimes happens doing it at home. She also enjoys the children's reading area. Pretty large and provides space and seats away from the rest of the store. read more

One of my favorite places to go. Being the closest and accessible bookstore from center city Philadelphia and surrounded by shopping malls, movie theaters, restaurants and Wegmans, this is the place to relax and unwind with some coffee and magazines. If you are from Philly you know that the only Bn is downtown with barely any parking available, and if so costs $$. The cafe with chairs is located in the second floor completely cut off from magazine stands. Pain in the ass to even find a chair. If you suffer from the same problem, you will find yourself here. I don't know how long BN will last in such a competitive market now that no one really buys books, but I hope it will stay strong and be here when I have kids. It's still better to buy a new book and read the crisp pages than to digitally swipe across a kindle/iPad/nook. It's just not the same. Nor is it the same when you visit second hand book stores where all the books are bent, torn, faded and yellowed beyond recognition. Support your BN! read more

Spacious place that had a great selection of manga for my picky teen and bratty preteen. Nice and quiet. You can hear a paperback drop in this joint. They have a labeled section for people who practice the arcane arts. I like-like that. The bathroom is clean. I need to buy a book that gets me in touch with my bladder chakra. Generally I don't mind this store, most of the books are in stock people are generally helpful to help you find what you're looking for but when I purchased a few books the other day and got home to find my son had bought me the same exact book I tried to return the one to B&N but I couldn't find the receipt and they informed me that I couldn't even get store credit without my receipt but if I joined up for the membership this would never be a problem for me again because all the receipts would go to my email however this would not help me now and it would cost me $25 and then she hung up on me without even a have a nice day, sorry you're screwed. read more

This Barnes and Noble is very big and clean! I did go in during the week with an active 4 year, and at 9 months pregnant was told very rudely from a women that work there that I could not sit on a footstool. I was having some cramping and is visible pregnant, but I guess a plastic footstool is more important then the customer. read more

The store was great and we found what we were looking for. No issues! But the baby changing table was not stocked and it was not clean. My biggest complaint is Starbucks. The girl making the drinks was more concerned with talking to her friend who "didn't want to clock in." That I could deal with but she made both my drinks terrible. I went back and had my remade and it was terrible again. Just terrible! So, blonde girl needs to be retrained in making drinks. Seriously. read more

I love this Barnes and nobles and the staff is so kind! They are doing so great taking precautions during this pandemic and being patient with people. My mother had a very complicated request for a book that would've driven me insane and the nicest employee helped her with it moments after having to deal with an awful man causing a scene about not wanting to wear a mask. In the age of dwindling book stores, this B&N is very nice. Good selection and rarely packed so if you just want to hang out and read it's a great place to do it. On the negative, the Garden State complex where it is located is a nightmare in terms of parking and traffic. read more

Probably the best place in the Philly region to sit, relax and read while sipping on some Starbucks coffee (this location doesn't accept starbucks cards/etc). The wifi is reliable, but slow which is fine as long as you don't expect to watch netflix in the bookstore. The selection of books is very diverse and there's plenty of nooks and random spaces to hide out and read in peace. This is my goto place for some R&R away from the city. read more

I'm in love. Of course, this location is brand new, but it has almost erased the poor image in my brain of the other area B&N that are old and in need of desperate TLC. It smells new. It's bright. It's spacious. Everything is easy to find. The drinks are good. The service is well-versed like bookstore staff should be. There is also a special section, a store-in-store if you will, to check out or purchase B&N's Nook. I'm a fan of this feature because I hate walking into B&N and having the Nook shoved down my throat as soon as I enter. I haven't given in yet to electronic book reading. There was an incredible section for toys, puzzles and the like. There was also an incredible display with classic/iconic books like Emma, Sense & Sensibility, A Midsummer's Night Dream, etc. read more

I am old school - I still love to finger books, buy empty journals to fill up with useless thoughts, to peruse magazines. This is conveniently located in a huge shopping mall, so if you are with a bunch of people and you're not in the mood to shop, this is a good place to while away time. This is the nicer location in the Marlton/Cherry Hill area and the largest as well. Parking at times can be a pain with all the other restaurants and stores adjacent to each other, but it does have a nice selection of books and music. The Cafe area is nicer and bigger than the others. Highly recommend becoming a member. You can use your discount on purchases in the store, at the Cafe, and online. Discount is good on the majority of items in the store. read more

Barnes & Noble - Bookstores Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

This Barnes and Noble is okay. It is a big store with a large children's section and also a large toy section. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because every time I have gone I rarely see employees on the floor helping customers. You usually have to go to the register or actively search for someone. Also, the train table in the children's section is really dirty and worn down. It could really be replaced/updated. read more

well, they didn't have the three things i was looking for. so boo for that. but the barista in the coffee bar (unexpectedly) made me a perfectly pulled espresso drink, so yay for that. the store was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. however, the staff in the music section needs a pep talk and a makeover. i'd shop here again i suppose! read more

They did away with self service kiosks. So I had to wait in line for 20 minutes to locate my book. Consequently the person who helped me was harried and rude. Not the service I expect from B&N. You should have separate staff for Nook technical issues. So the rest of us can get in and out. read more

One of the newest stores around, the place has a well organized feel and, for a brick and mortar location, a great inventory. Staff is always pleasant and helpful, and any book lover could easily get lost in the aisles for hours. read more

It's a Barnes & Noble. It has books. I think it has a coffee bar. It has all the other annoying things that bookstores have to get you to spend money. I don't purchase from bookstores any longer as I read digitally. But when your daughter begs to go, you go. Bookstores now resemble pharmacies: they have expanded so far beyond their core items that you can buy seemingly anything there: calendars, toys, games, knicknacks, etc. read more

Great Barnes and Noble. Good location close to a lot of nice restaurants and clothing stores. Strange Nook exhibit in the middle of the store is a bit overwhelming and kind of takes over most of the store, which is why I took off one star. read more

im still feeling a little salty as I write this. Overall this is a nice B&N. Big, clean, nice café. I recently went in to buy a book as a gift. The only copy was defective (pages falling out). The guy behind the customer service desk took forever to lookup where another one might be located in a nearby store. He did locate one and directed me to the other store - I drove to the store he directed me to. Thing is the store he called and the store he sent me to were two different stores. Major fail. Excellent store. I was in there this morning at 7 a.m. for their Black Friday signed edition specials, the store manager or district manager not sure but greeted me showed me what I wanted also told me to head over to the cafe for a free beverage anything you wanted as long as it was a tall size. I spent about 45 minutes in the store sipping my free beverage bought a couple of books and a few non book related gifts the cashiers honored my coupons took care of my membership. It wasn't that crowded but it was a great experience read more
