So there aren't many Barnes and Nobles left, especially in the city, but this one in Long Island is awesome. They are in a shared lot with other businesses so there's also a shared parking lot. Plenty of parking. The first floor is all books as well as the checkout counter. Each section is labeled with the best sellers one of the first sections. Horror, History, Non Fiction, etc. it's easy to find a specific book if you need too. Each section is also in alphabetical order as well. The 2nd floor which you can take stairs, escalator or the elevator. Not positive on the elevator but pretty sure they have one More books on this floor mostly for children and kids but not the entire floors. There's also a very large toys section which is awesome. Toys, board games and more. There was also some seating scattered throughout the store. I didnt need help as it was easy to find everything so I didn't notice too many workers on the floor but I want to say they were there if you needed help. Check out was easy and the cashier was very friendly and engaging. They also have a rewards program as well if you opt into that.

Always enjoy a book store. We came here since while we were waiting for a table from a nearby sushi place. Two stories bookstore with kids book on the 2/F and cafe on the ground floor. Spacious free parking lot.

Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon for a coffee and to get myself a new James Patterson book . The Starbucks was super fast and they made my latte perfectly! Always a plus . Very spacious , clean , great staff .. very helpful and nice . You could definitely spend a whole afternoon here just relaxing , perusing the latest novels and enjoying a hot coffee or tea . They have a great children's section on the second floor with toys and games as well . Something for everyone! Definitely recommend! 10/10

Lots of books that are well organized. Lines move quickly and employees within the bookstore portion are nice. Ordering online and picking up in store is convenient in theory, but had many hiccups along the way. Lines are marked with socially distant tape spots. Plenty of cool little gifts for kids and adults with different interests such as origami, knitting, and even collecting vinyls. The Starbucks here does not accept payments via the app if you preloaded anything. It will not accept stars and will not give you stars or participate in any of the specials such as double star day or BOGO day. Limited flavors and items available, but seating is open.

This store is located not too far from the mall on old county road, and next to stop and shop. The building looks elegant in a way to match the area of garden city. Upon entering they have two escalators in each side. There are islands of books located in the middle and they have a shelf off to the left that have the bestsellers books. Their selection of books are pretty good and they sometimes have what you're looking for. They used to have a large selection of clearance books, where I like to dabble because you find great stuff in there. The second floor is mostly kids books and a toy area. There are a few other types of book selection of book categories on the other side of the children's books. They have a cafe off to the right with seating available. Usually when you purchase a book you get a coupon for the cookies the sell. Very delicious. I didn't give them a full 5 stars because there was a particular book I was looking for that they didn't have available. However they offered to order the book for me which I declined and found it on Amazon

comfortable store, with clean set up, organized and nice! The starbucks was poppin at like 10 am with many people busy working. Loved to see that! but sad that they don't accept starbucks rewards as i would love to use it there.

Barnes & Nobles is known for selling books, so they obviously had a ton of books everywhere. But, we found items that we didn't know we would find in this grand bookstore. First of all, there was wrapping paper and gift bags. Then, we noticed that there were some glasses. And then, we found candles. Lastly, the most surprising thing we saw was hand soap! (There is also a lil coffee area.) This Barnes & Nobles is more than just books.

*Happy New Year's Post* This review is all about finding the Poetry section. Since the remodel I have been able to comfortably find some of my favorite sections. But today I found the Poetry section. It's all the way in the back on the first floor by the couches - to the left. It's perfect. I found the exact book I was looking for with no help and since this section was all the way in the back of the store I was able to get some good browsing in (reading some poems, etc) uninterrupted. I like this section better than before.

Life lesson!

I love Barnes and Nobles. Prior to coming here today I stopped at the red dot variety store and the local library and its still not the same. Barnes and Nobles gives you two floors of all you need to survive in life: books, bathrooms, and Starbucks. Today's experience was really great because my membership ended but I was able to pull up a coupon and still get 20% off my book purchases. Then they made an announcement that all Cheesecake factory cheesecake was on sale for $2. All I needed was a free Frap and New York Times bestseller of course that wasn't happening. B&N will mostly have all new and current reading material in sections that are east to navigate. If you want something dated or for doing research visit the local library. People are allowed to talk here. There are plenty of other supplemental reading products for sale including e-readers and audio book. Plenty of wonderful gift ideas. Paper books will never go out of style. Of course I'm going back!!!

On an annual trip to NYC, I decided I would visit bookstores and take in all I could. B&B was right…read moreby my hotel, and I was delighted to find a comfortable room full of baseball memorabilia and a great variety. They specialize in 19th and 20th century English and American literature, which means you're going to see a lot of titles you're familiar with. I stopped in late in their day, so I wasn't surprised to be the only one there, but the team gave me space, answered very basic questions I had, and - gasp - LET ME TOUCH THE BOOKS. This is far from a stuffy environment, and when I finally convince my partner that I need that very expensive piece that has F. Scott Fitzgerald's music for Princeton, I know exactly where I'll go.

5 minutes before B&B books was closing, I buzzed the room located on the third floor to see if they…read morewould let me in "just to look." Well, 45 minutes later, I was still oohing and awing at the marvelous selection of first edition books they have to offer. This is the largest selection (aside from corporate-owned Bauman's) of rare books I've seen that include the dust jacket- a collectors actual dream. It's the biggest breath of fresh air to find a rare book store owned by a woman, and to be treated like a human being. I normally get side-eyed from rare bookstore owners and some of the conversations I've had sound like: "May I see the Portrait of a Lady in the case?" "All of these books are at least $100.00 and up." ".....I know." "Do you have any Wilde?" "The book about the woman hiking alone? That's too new to be in our shop, Barnes & Noble would have it." "I'm talking about the 1800s poet." "Oh." I take it personally because while I look like a millennial who doesn't know what she's talking about, I treasure my rare books like they're my children. Sunday stayed AN EXTRA HOUR at her store while I looked and answered all of my questions that I had, never making me feel rushed or unwelcome. After selecting a first edition Fitzgerald, she wrapped it in bubble wrap for my travels back home and gave me an updated book with all of the rare book sellers in the country.

Let me get this quickly out of the way. I do not read comic books nor am I a collector. This store is about one mile from my house and I had never been here before, even though they have been here over 20 years. This was their annual charitable event. I was greeted the door by Storm Troopers and Darth Vader. It was obvious that they have the right formula here. The small shop is PACKED with comic books and memorabilia. This is clearly the home base for comic book collectors and aficionados. I was here to see one of the artists drawing and support their charitable cause. I always find it amazing to watch an artist go from pen-paint-pencil to paper. Amazing talent. I had the opportunity to meet a cmic book author. We had an amazing conversation that was capped off by determining we went to elementary school together in Queens. It's always a small world. The owner is a wonderful man who is dedicated to his passion and charity work. I am looking forward to next years show and will look to possibly partner with them in my own charitable events. The staff here is wonderful and truly passionate to their hobby. KUDOs to the team here at Grasshopper's Comics

We came here 4 times now and I always end up spending a fortune. They have tons of Manga (comics/ graphic novels originated from Japan), Squishmallows, Funko Pop! as well as CDs, vinyls, clothing, collectibles, gifts and other comics + books. I'd say it's a pretty cool, interesting store for both adults and kids but also very pricey. Just realized, comics are not cheap. If you're a fan, then I guess it's worth it. He always picks out about 3 to 4 Manga every time, which ranges from $10-$20 each and some plushes & keychains. The Squishmallow keychains are $13, medium & large sized Squishmallow plushes ranges from $20-$60. Some are extremely overpriced due to the levels of rarity. The blue penguin I just bought today that my daughter really wanted retails for $15, their selling it for $36. Overall, still a good store to check out and the staff are helpful. Fyi (9/11): their currently having a buy 1 get 1 50% off all Manga and graphic novels deal.

The second one I didn't even open because I didn't even want to see or try the record after I realized that the cover and spine is absolutely wrecked and crushed.
