Quaint little tables!
Nena M.

This place is smack dab inside Barns and Nobles! You can enjoy great food and drinks and don't forget your book! Quiet, but right in the middle of everything ! I come here to relax, read a book and enjoy a fall Favorite, Salted Caramel Mocha Frapp! So good and I'm already hooked after trying it once! They have free and easy to connect to wifi! What a plus! They have a kid friendly menu, anything from hot chocolate, the the famous pumpkin spice latte! They have tables and chairs, or a tall bench with bench seats! Just all around a good place to come and spend hours loosing yourself in your favorite book!

We bought online tickets and took our family if 5. Everyone loved it. They had an hour to play with…read morethe cats, enjoy a cold drink and a snack. Knowing all money goes to keeping this non profit animal rescue open is a big plus to me. We saw 3 others while we in and another 4 walked in off of the street and joined right when we were leaving. Love this place! Our kids liked that we bought grab bags for them and they loved what was in them. Little toys.

So after browsing Groupon looking for something to do with my youngest one morning, I ended up…read morepurchasing one for Kzoo Cat Cafe. We aren't really "cat people", but because of my husbands allergies my sons are really interested in cats. First off, I didn't read the fine print and the first time I tried to go here I realized it's only open from 6:00-9:00 pm. Well that wasn't helpful for me who wanted to go before (afternoon) preschool! Then I looked again and the Groupon I bought was only valid Mon-Thurs. so now it's winter break, I have both kids that want to go, and it expires on Jan 6... bummer! So I buy another Groupon for 2 and invite my cat-loving neighbor and we make a night out of it. It's hard for me to give 3 vs 4 stars for this. From a non-car persons viewpoint, it was so full of cats and people and toys everywhere and then there's a Keurig and snack bags for your enjoyment. What?? Plus I think it's like $12 a person to get in normally!! Who pays that to go sit and pet cats? Well obv a ton of people because the place was packed!! They said it was the most full they'd seen it in a while. Also this is a rescue and adoption facility so people can come back and adopt a cat after they've played with it for a while the first day. People were sitting all over the place, on the floor, on the ripped up couch, on the few chairs that were there, etc. and the cats were everywhere too! Most of the cats were very nice and my sons did love to play with them. Not sure we'd go back, or if it was worth the $24 for 4 people I paid. But I guess a fun activity to try out once.

This place has my heart Water Street is cozy, elegant,…read moreclassy , and beautifully designed, the decor is absolutely charming and instantly makes you feel at relaxed and content. The staff are always kind and welcoming, with warm smiles that add such a lovely touch to the experience. My absolute favorites are the Sleeping Bear Mocha and the Sleeping Bear Hot Chocolate , "truly signature drinks and honestly addictive!!" I keep coming back just for them, and I've never found anything quite like them anywhere else. Their food options are unique and always served warm when you order. I also adore that they offer tea pots when you order tea such a cozy, thoughtful detail that makes the experience feel extra special They have cute mugs and teas available for purchase, perfect for taking a little piece of the café home. Prices are similar to Starbucks, but the quality and atmosphere feel much more special. I love that they introduce seasonal drinks, right now they have a delicious mocha and a pecan drink that feel perfect for the season. They also serve chai lattes, which is very important to me wherever I go, and theirs is lovely. They even have an app that sometimes offers rewards and little perks, which is always a nice surprise. (My only wish is) that they extend their hours until 9 or 10 PM . it would make this cozy spot even more perfect. Overall, this is one of my favorite coffee spots. Warm, comforting, and always a pleasure I highly recommend it and they have my full yelpy support :)

Early morning happy service is what I got. This is the larger of the locations with a little bit of a longer drive thru. True to water street, the chill vibe extended to the car.

Tim Hortons is, in my opinion, one of the best fast-food restaurants in the South Kalamazoo and…read morePortage area of Michigan. The staff members are consistently friendly, welcoming, and responsive whenever you enter the restaurant. The food quality is excellent, and the coffee is always fresh and enjoyable. You truly get good value for the money you spend. Like many restaurants, they occasionally face staffing shortages, which can sometimes result in the lobby being closed. However, the current manager, Alexa, has worked diligently to keep the lobby open whenever possible and to ensure customers continue to receive quality service. My wife and I visit this Tim Hortons about three times a week, and we have always appreciated the positive atmosphere and attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who values quick service, quality food and beverages, and being treated as a valued customer. If you do not want to wait in long lines and enjoy friendly, dependable service, this is an excellent place to visit.

They offered me a cold latte instead and I said no and asked for a regular coffee with the syrup from the latte instead. Got to work and discovered they used a shot of regular coffee in place of the espresso, added water, cream and syrup. Basically they made me a $6 cup of hot water. Tasted like garbage. Add to this that they have had a pothole in front of the drive through speaker for at least 2 years that is now so big if you try to drive through it, it will probably break your car axle.
