Terrific for take away fish and chips and similar. I usually opt for the crumbed fish. The service is very friendly.

I had a mixed plate of pan fried dumplings and the spicy pork and veg in particular was really good. The dumplings are soft and squishy on the top and have a crunchy base, and all of the stuffing was fresh and tasty. They have salads for five bucks, pork buns, pancakes and rice, and obviously the dumplings, which are seafood, chicken and mushroom, pork and veggies, spicy pork and veggies, and tomato and egg. The signage is somewhat confusing, it says Dumpling: $7.00. So we all thought 'what? Is the dumpling stuffed with gold?' It's actually six dumplings for seven dollars, not one. I sat on my little chair, getting my elbow knocked each time someone opened the drinks fridge, and really enjoyed the food here. The woman sitting across from me raised her eyebrows when I stood up with my empty plate, and I knew exactly what she was saying: 'good dumplings, huh?' Good dumplings indeed, lady stranger, good dumplings indeed.

If they put them on a plate with a dipping sauce you'd pay more than twice as much as an entree in a restaurant. The sushi... well... it's good... it's not stunning - they don't do the BBQ Duck Rolls that I am totally addicted to at another Sakura near by... and for some reason, their Tempura Chicken is spicy, which has caught my oldest daughter out a couple of times... but those prawn and seafood bars make up for it all. Salt and Pepper squid is good value, too :) I notice they have a Sakura Dumpling Station down near Coles, too - haven't tried it yet but I'm sure I will soon - review to follow!

The staff are attentive and friendly, the restaurant was super clean and has such a warm environment. I started my meal with a caramel milkshake, which was definitely the best I've had of this flavour! The fettuccine with creamy mushroom sauce came with a bonus personal garlic bread, which was fantastic and buttery, and the fettuccine was prepared to perfection. The only thing I won't do next time is order a second caramel shake; I felt sick for a while from overeating. (Not their fault at all, I'm taking full responsibility here.)

This occasion was before going to a movie at Tea Tree Plaza so we wanted something quick and easy. And on top of that this Primo did movie and meal deal. We all had a chicken schnitzel. It was good. It wasn't amazing, but it was satisfactory for an in and out soft of meal. In my opinion if that's what you're after in this area, this place is probably the place to go with a menu boasting with a range of different western and Italian dishes at budget prices. I think the one downfall is that the place was already quite busy and fall this evening so we seated outside on a dirty table that was not cleared for a short while with waitresses constantly missing the table to be cleared. Never mind. I would honestly come back here again if I was after a quick meal before a movie upstairs at the Hoyts cinemas ... As well as to grab myself a movie and meal deal.

As far as sushi train places go this place is in the top tier. I loved the decor it was modern and simple, and the place was clean and spotless. The chicken sushi was delicious. I had a few chicken avocado plates and some Inari (rice covered in deep fried tofu) their desserts were also sweet, but not overly so. I had a lemon cheesecake type mouse on a chocolate cake, I just had to grab it as I saw it chug past on the ol' sushi train. The service was quick, and polite. They were very accommodating to us. We had to order a few things on the menu since I had allergies and they were happy to make it up for me. I was very impressed and happy with the service My only complaint is that the soft drinks/iced teas/waters were pretty expensive. I am going to have to go here more often, seafood allergy be damned!

The key if you…read morewant quality, fresh sushi from here is to only eat here when it's busy - However, when it's quiet you just about have to end up in argument to get fresh sushi or otherwise be content to eat the stale, slightly warm fish, the cold dumplings and soggy tempura. The service can be friendly, but is generally unwelcoming and verging on rude. Our dining experience today involved a young girl, who when we asked if we could order, begrudgingly came over to our table, never so much as said a word - just stared at us until we started to order and then walked off. No smile, no "what can I get for you", not even a "here's your fresh salmon" when she delivered the order, she just slid the plate across the table... If there was a half decent sushi "train" style restaurant somewhere else in the northern suburbs, I would completely boycott this place based on their service alone, but a this stage it is either this or travelling to the city. On the bright side, I love their tuna sandwich which is never on the conveyer belt and is therefore always made fresh for me, so I usually order 3 of these to avoid the stale stuff.

I guess the main thing I liked about it was the beer garden, and there were a few times when I would sit out the back with a couple of friends drinking a couple of beers. It does have some charm about it, and while in parts it does feel a little tacky, the pub itself isn't too bad. I guess it does have a lot to do with the memories that I have of the place.

The pub is quite old looking, on a corner, but it has been refurbished inside and out the back. The carpark is huge which is good. I do love a good salad bar and this one lives up to my expectations, also they have cheap snitty's Tuesday night's. Also, there is a senior's section on their website which states senior's get the royal treatment 7 days a week, which gives you an idea of the crowd. I stopped in here once, half drunk on the wa to town with some girls, and we stood out amongst the oldies tearing up the d-floor. The drinks aren't that cheap either, especially what we drink. I'm sure port and sherry were the specials for the night. But the beer garden is ok, simple, neat and new. They also hold trivia nights on Tuesdays and karaoke on Thursday and Friday for a laugh.
