She is super dialed into the wedding industry and was able to easily rattle off recommendations for vendors that matched our style, wants and needs. I also found her to be very thoughtful, strategic, smart, and extremely calm, not to mention super experienced. And the proof is in the pudding -- if you look at photos of her events, they are so incredibly beautiful, put-together and stylish. We were originally supposed to be married in May 2020, and having to put off our marriage several times due to the pandemic was a huge disappointment. But Katie stuck by us through two rounds of rescheduling and helped us through it ALL. She understands events and the industry so well that even though the pandemic was uncharted territory for all of us, her knowledge and gut instincts saved us many times. She was always quick to answer emails and phone calls, and there was never a loose end on her watch -- she is so organized and focused. And we could always count on her to be super honest and transparent with her advice; if spending money on something added a lot of value or made a lot of sense, she would tell us, but she would also let us know where we could easily save money. I was happy with every one of her recommendations -- vendors, decor, paper goods, everything! I will also never forget the many examples of kindness and empathy that Katie showed us, including literally HOLDING a plate of cheese and fruit for me to eat from between photos on my wedding day! Her compassion and positive energy are honestly humbling. When we were planning our event with all these masking and safety restrictions, I was worried that after all this work and all these postponements, the resulting event was going to feel like a compromise. But our day was honestly perfect and stunningly beautiful, and a lot of the credit for that goes to Katie. I am forever grateful and would heartily recommend her to anyone planning an event.

I recently attended a wedding catered by Abbott Catering, and the experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. The level of professionalism, service, and attention to detail was far below expectations. The dinner service was delayed by 1.5 hours, and when it finally arrived, the plating and presentation were amateurish. The food was cold, and several tables were not served at all. The menu items were inaccurately described; the braised short rib was actually a pot roast, and the miso, blackberry glazed cod was overcooked whitefish without the promised glaze. Additionally, the salad service was inadequate, with only one medium bowl for a table of 16. When I addressed these issues with the caterer, he was not present to resolve the problems and instead blamed external factors. The dessert service, which was supposed to include two frosted cheesecakes cut on site, lacked any frosting. The coffee service was minimal, with only two carafes and no creamer or sugar available. Furthermore, the appetizers, which were meant to be hand-passed, were simply placed on a table without napkins or plates. I strongly advise against using Abbott Catering for any event. They failed to deliver on half of the contract's promises, and the most disappointing aspect was the lack of service, quality, and accountability for the subpar product.

The head table did not receive food. What food was served was served cold & not in alignment with what was listed on the menu. When asked later what happened, he admitted he used Al to prep for the wedding & ultimately failed to accommodate for the party size. B) Was absent from the wedding venue for a majority of the evening. Every time someone sought him out, he was apparently offsite to retrieve necessary items and would return empty-handed. C) Did not come appropriately staffed & required other vendors to step in & assist with service. Without their assistance, dinner service would not have occurred. Ultimately, I would not recommend Abbott Catering for a wedding or large-scale event.

He could have just as easily said they were booked or couldn't accommodate a reservation a couple days out when they normally have months notice but Justin didn't hesitate to pull every string in the book to make it happen. His coordinator Alisha was so sweet, responsive and helpful as well. The icing on the cake was the quality of the food and service, not the mention their burgers. Holy moly, so good! I can't even count the amount of compliments we received on those patties. I can't recommend this company enough! Thank you doesn't go far enough!
