Comfortable neighborhood pub with a selection of real ales as well as the usual mass-produced beers on offer. Wines and spirits too. There is a reasonable food menu with several interesting mains, including a sirloin steak, sausages and mash, rissotto and a chicken tikka masala. Burgers and sandwiches, too. No wifi, but I did find a power outlet to top up my iPhone after a hard morning's sightseeing while I enjoyed a pint.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place while we were walking around London. We stopped in for dinner and a pint. There was plenty of room at the bar, as well as a lot of seating for dinner. The menu was made up of basic England pub fare- Fish & Chips, Meat Pies, Bangers & Mash, sandwiches... Our food came out very quickly after we ordered it, so it had to be somewhat pre-made. I seemed to enjoy my Steak & Ale Pie a little more than my friends enjoyed their Fish & Chips. It was okay, not great. The bar was nice and the bartenders/servers were friendly! Nothing fancy, but definitely worth stopping in for a drink if you're in the area. They did have a nice selection of beer on tap.

I've been to the Barley Mow a few times now - mainly because its quite near the head office of the company I work for. There's normally a decent after work crowd - mainly because it is surrounded by offices. The atmosphere is decent and the prices are average. On this occasion I went for the second half of the Englad v Wales Euro 2016 match and it was sooooooooo busy!! And hot, and sweaty!! I was literally surrounded by hot, sweaty men! And then England scored their second goal and the place erupted, naturally! I didn't mind too much, until I got beer on me... Furthermore the floor was very sticky and I know its safety first but they were serving Corona's in plastic cups. Now I like my Corona cold, with a slice of lime and in a BOTTLE! I was very disappointed when it was poured into a pint glass. But hey ho, they were probably trying to be safe.

    Fish and chips. Meh

Fun, friendly, good food! We had the Sunday roast. Tasted like homemade.

I had a great time here. For American, go for the whiskey, the price is way more affordable than US. The bread pudding is good.

Others in my party were happy with their orders, too (fish/chips, steak and ale pie, chicken/bacon/mayo sandwich on baguette w/ veg soup and chips).
