Evansville needs more local breweries. And Barker Brewhouse on the Westside of town hits the spot. A wide variety of beers on tap including many from regional brewing companies like St. Benedict's Brew Works, Terra Haute Brewing Company, 3 Floyds Brewing, Bloomington Brewing Company, and Myriad. They also have over 150 different beers, ciders, and seltzers to choose from their can and bottle selection. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for friends to hang out. Spacious interior. While there is no food sold, every day there is a different local food truck. We were lucky to have some loaded taters and pork tacos from Steve's Oink-N-Squeel. Other food trucks have included River City Dawgs, Paradise Pizza, and JB's Barnyard. Go online to check out the schedule. We also liked how patrons could bring their puppy dogs inside. So many adorable dogs. Just keep them leashed. Overall, we enjoyed our pints. Even if you aren't a craft beer fan, you will probably find something to your liking--pale ales, IPAs, wheat beers, brown ales, and more. As a person who enjoys sours and fruity beers, totally recommend the Candied Orange Sour! Will definitely be coming back to try more!

Newish place. 5 of their own beers and many others on draft. Red IPA was decent, but the star of the show is the blond bartender. We arrived with no one else at the bar. She didn't look at us. Finally acknowledged our existence when my partner asked for a sample taste of one of their drafts. Never smiled. Barely spoke. We ordered our beers. Then some of her young homies walked to the bar and it turns out, she is alive! Laughing, smiling, being a helpful friendly bartender to them. So the moral is, don't come here if your'e old, or someone she doesn't know. Visited several places in Evansville while here. Won't return to this place.

Great little spot that is dog and kid friendly. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town.
