It's out of the way with plenty of parking across the street. Small looking from the outside however has plenty of seating with a very nice decor. They do take reservations if you need and from what we experienced you might want to do that depending on the day and time of the week. Service was very responsive and pleasant, providing the daily specials and food arrived quickly. All our neals were fantastic and portions were good along with the pricing. I completely agree with the concerns raised by two customers, Trina and Thomas, here regarding your cash-only policy, which we found to be exclusionary and poorly communicated. After driving 20 miles to dine with you, we were informed that cards were not accepted. As most other establishments in Westfield were closed, we were left with no choice but for me to drive another 40 miles round-trip to secure cash. The quality and value of the food were equally disappointing. I paid $18 for a salad that consisted of only four tiny slices of meat, two cherry tomato slices, and a small amount of lettuce. This was by far the worst dining experience we have had since moving from the South to Western New York. It was disheartening to feel that our business was not valued, especially on a holiday. read more

This place is solid. Alright overall. The location is a little bit odd but nothing to have a cow over. LOL. We called ahead before we got here and asked if coming around 50 minutes before closing time would be okay. We got seated, but did wait a bit to have our order taken because they were pretty backed up from a busy dinner service. They apologized for the wait and took our food and drink order. Water is cold so that's a good sign. Dim lit restaurant, wasn't a fan of the chairs, they are weirdly straight up. I also don't like the table covers. Quite annoying on my knees. Now on to the food. We got bread which was pretty good, nothing special but still good. The main course was amazing. My only problem with it was that I asked for jalapeños on the side but they were on the burger. Not a huge deal they were easy to take off. Burger was very good fries were solid. Everyone else said their food was great. Mother said it was the best buff chicken sandwich she ever had. My brother got a hamstring cramp because he was dehydrated from the blue collar work he did all day. This place was great. Our waitress was super nice and friendly , great person. Amazing restaurant with lots of very good dinner choices to select from. Food quick to come out to our table and all of us had fantastic meals. Emma was our server and was very good -personable and, knowledgeable and was able to answers to our questions and make recommendations. This was our first time eating here and we all agree that Bark Grill is a must spot when in Westfield. We were passing through Westfield and staying at an Airbnb just outside of town. Looking for dinner at around 8:30 pm on a Thursday night, there weren't too many places opened in the area, but we came across the Bark Grill and liked their menu. We placed an order for take-out and were told it was cash and check only. I arrived a bit earlier than the time we were given for our food to be ready, and was greeted by the manager who was incredibly welcoming and engaging to talk to. The bartender also greeted me warmly and even told me a short story on the Lincoln connection to Westfield, since we were on our way home to Illinois. No one batted an eye that we had placed an order right before their closing time. Once we were able to dive into our meals, we were very impressed with how tasty everything was. My wife said that her chicken masala was very good, and my Black 'N Blue burger was fantastic, perfectly grilled. Our side salad and fries were also delightful. For dessert, we really enjoyed the peanut butter (a cream pie) and tollhouse pies. Highly recommended! We wish we lived in Westfield, NY so that we could come back again! read more

This place is pretty awesome. Been here a handful of times and have been quite pleased each time. The reason for the review this time is we came on St Pattys Day and they had a Reuben on special. All I have to say is, it should be on the menu! Best Reuben in this area I have had. My daughter had a bronco burger which was very good too. Large burger and not greasy, very appetizing. Their fries are good too. My son had a chicken parmigiana sandwich which also had great flavor, the chicken was crisp and not greasy and again very good size. My only suggestion would be to accept credit cards, they are cash or check only. Waitresses are super nice as well! read more

Arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday and our table was ready and few were seated in the dining room. Within 1/2 hour several people were seated. We were given menus and extra time to ask questions about the entrees. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The shrimp scampi was perfectly cooked and served over Angel hair pasta. She let me choose asparagus instead of a salad. The steak was very tender and a good chargrilled flavor. The Diane sauce served over it was creamy and tasty. I ordered a cosmopolitan for my cocktail and it was mixed to perfection. Overall a very pleasant and satisfying dining experience! read more

Friendly service upon entering and leaving. It took one hour to get one salad, one fish special, one beer and one iced tea. No follow up or refills offered. This is clearly a locals only place and since we are not, we were unfairly discriminated against. Can't recommend and certainly won't return. We left hungry and thirsty. read more

Tried this place based on yelp reviews and my fellow yelpers didn't disappoint. Excellent menu that has a touch of Italian, and a few other specialties. I had the New York strip with the stuffed seafood topping, with red skin mashed potatoes. The steak was excellent and perfectly cooked, which in my case is medium rare. Strips can be a little dry, but not this one, it was as tender as a ribeye. The mashed potatoes were rich and creamy. My wife had the amaretto scallops with a creamy sauce and with rice, she was a big fan and the samples I tried were great. Worth the stop any chance you get by Westfield. read more

This restaurant is off the Main Street in town, in a more residential area. I'm sad we couldn't go inside, because it looked like such a cool place. They have a neat little order window with a doorbell for service. My boyfriend ordered an Italian chicken sandwich that was really good, and I got something from the specials - a seafood stuffed portabello mushroom. It had this crab stuffing that I could not get enough of! It was so tasty! We sat outside at one of the little tables they had on the sidewalk, but you can also get to-go. Group of 10 had dinner last night. Everyone's meals were excellent. Many chicken dishes, shrimp scampi, pork chop, grilled chicken salad - all nice and fresh - generous portions, seemed like excellent quality! Our server, Mary T. was outstanding. Very attentive and couldn't have done more for us. She is 5 Star for sure. Prices were in keeping with what you would expect and not too high at all. Many interesting specials as well. The best I can say is that it was fine. Our waitress was very attentive and polite but the restaurant was way too dark for a place billed as a "family restaurant;" especially at 5:30pm. The food was ok. Not terrible but not great either. The breading on the fish fry peeled away and there was so much extra sauce on the fettuccine alfredo that it made the portion appear much bigger. They placed exactly 2 slices of supermarket style white bread in the bread basket (1 for each person at the table). It felt like they were trying to cut corners. We are unlikely to return. read more

I think this place is great. This was our first time here. All of the dressings are homemade and all were great. We both had the fish fry, very thick piece of fish and the breading was crispy, like it is supposed to be. Very reasonably priced. Great waitress and great food.
