this is the only "Puppy Social club" we've been to. Its at a good time on a Sunday, and rain or shine, Its on! We have had unsocialized dogs in the past and it was NOT a good thing. This is very casual and friendly and seems really good for the pups. read more

Our pup Rigatoni absolutely loves Bark Ave DayCamp, and they are essentially our extended family when it comes to his care. As we were nervous the first time we took him to board, I was immediately settled when they knew him by name, were so excited to have him for the day, answered all our questions and made it feel very safe and structured, and it didn't hurt that Rigatoni never even looks back at us as he enters the play space - no anxiety, no fears, just eager to be with his friends in a space he loves. These are our people when it comes to his care! read more

We absolutely LOVE Bark Avenue Daycamp! We've been bringing our dog, Heath, here for the past two years since he was about nine months old and we couldn't be happier with the care he's received. As Heath got older, he started having some reactive issues with certain dogs. Instead of turning us away, the team went above and beyond to work with us. They tried different programs and truly took the time to understand what he needed. Eventually, we found the perfect fit with their solo play option, where he gets one-on-one time with staff throughout the day and he is thriving! It means so much to us that they didn't give up on him and instead created a solution that works for everyone. My company is actually moving in the opposite direction, which means a longer drive for us but there's no question we'll continue bringing Heath here. That's how much we trust and appreciate this team. Every single staff member is amazing, caring, and dedicated. We are so grateful for everything they do! read more

Top notch facility, my dog loves coming here. 10/10 experience every time and the staff is so friendly!

All of the staff are very professional and playful with my dog, Milo. I take him to Bark Avenue for grooming, daycare and boarding. Their grooming service is the best. My dog would always come back looking fresh. Also, most Sundays they have Puppy Play Time. This is when you are able to bring your puppy to their facility to play with other puppies. Milo was very shy when I first got him. After a few visit to Puppy Play Time, he was able to break out of his shell and interact with other dogs. read more

Brought my six year old lab pup Taco for training before a long international flight to work on his social behavior. Couldn't have made a better choice! He's a different (young fur) man now! Ashley and the team have an incredible approach. They are caring and methodical. Taco spent several weeks in 3-4 times a week training during his da camp. I started seeing the difference after week 1! Huge difference! Ashley also did several in-person sessions with me and the dog that gave me a much better understanding of the training and helped further the training at home. Taco and I LOVE Bark Avenue and are very thankful for all their help! We recommend both their day camp AND their training program! read more

Whether I need to board, groom or train my dogs, Bark Avenue has always been my number one go to place. I've never met a staff member who wasn't friendly and professional. Omg! Our pup had a dog on good time! The facility is extremely clean. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted. The staff made me feel comfortable leaving our pup with them. Jordan, who greeted us, let me know what to expect while our pup was in their care. She went out of her way to be friendly and informative. Because of the high quality customer service and training provided, We will certainly return to Bark Avenue for our pups training and socialization needs. read more

Staff is very and professional. Had my foster dog evaluated and they were honest but kind regarding her extreme fear. I can tell they genuinely love dogs, and i can trust they are well treated and cared for in my absence. Bonus- I love that they take videos of the dogs during the day! read more

My name is Moose and I give trainer Kelly and Bark Avenue 5 paws. I don't always listen to my parents and I'm usually "slightly" distracted by other dogs, and smells, and just about anything, but now I sit, I stay, I lay down, I place, and sometimes I even walk nice without tugging (I'm working on it, but squirrels are really exciting). I'm going to be a big bad bird dog and Kelly gives mom and dad helpful tips with my field training, along with help for just making me listen better. Mom says we'll see more of Kelly and Bark Ave after Santa Paws comes and I can't wait! read more

TLDR: I drive 45 minutes here, another 45 to work, and then repeat for 3 hours total driving to have my dog do daycare where I trust. Worth every minute. The owner was phenomenal in helping get my dog going in daycare and her team is top notch across the board. I feel like my dog is safe and having fun because the owner is a long time dog trainer and knows this business well. I do wish they had cameras for owners, but they do videos so we can see some of the fun and happy dogs each day. I could not give a higher recommendation. I am beyond grateful my dog has a safe place to have fun. read more

I would recommed Bark Avenue DayCamp because not only did my grand dog love the camp, he also came a long way from being a little shy to a more confident dog. The staff there are all friendly and especially Cassidy who was at the front desk a lot of time when I dropped or picked up Taco. When I ever get the opportunity again to take care of my grand dog Taco, I will definently bring him back. He looked forward to coming to the day camp, whimming in excitement as we were driving to Bark Avenue Day Camp. read more

This is a fantastic place to take your dog on rainy days or just to get out and exercise! My year and a half year old lab has been going there for almost a year. He starts to cry and go nuts as soon as we turn into the complex. We've boarded him there on several occasions and feel very confident that he is safe and having the time of his life! We love seeing all the pictures that they post almost everyday of all the dogs interacting. I'm very grateful for finding such a great place for our baby to go!!!! read more

From daycamp to grooming to boarding, you couldn't ask for a nicer, more efficient or better place to leave your fuzzy family member. My dog actually gets annoyed if we wait too long between visits. Jules started Day Camp earlier this year, while I worked full time for a few months. She loves it! I also signed her up for training camp. The trainers are brilliant and I was thrilled with the results. She was a good girl to start, however, the training has improved her walking skills and recall skills. It also helped train me with the skills to keep her safe. As stated she loves day camp and is always happy to arrive. She has made many friends and loves to play. I feel very comfortable leaving her knowing she is well cared for and having fun! Thank you Bark Avenue! Rose and Jules read more

I don't know who loves Bark Ave day camp more, my puppy or me because he comes home tired and doesn't eat my shoes anymore! Seriously though, my shelter pup went through a lot in his young life and he has a lot of fear but not when I take him to Bark Avenue. He races inside and is super excited when he is dropped off so I can tell they treat the dogs well. The place is always immaculate too which I love. Also, the owner and her daughter are great people and you can tell they love the animals and what they do and it shows in a happy environment! read more

Great staff! Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent place for your dog to be boarded, DayCamp and training.

Took my dog there, they said she was too energetic and jumping on the workers. Don't work in a doggie daycare if you don't want to be jumped on LOL. She's a young 1 year old lab. Said she wasn't allowed to be in daycare due. Wouldn't recommend. read more

We had our dog do a board and train here with Kelly and they were wonderful. We also stayed for a dog training seminar that was awesome as well. We brought in two healthy dogs to have a weeklong board and train and brought home two sick dogs. At pick up we had training with the dogs individually. Right when they brought our first dog Misia out, we were shocked at her eyes being red, squinted, and covered in gunk. After asking the trainer about this she said her eyes have had a lot of discharge during her stay and she had to clean them out every few days. I want to mention that Misia has NEVER had this much or this color of discharge. We texted almost daily for updates on the girls, and no one mentioned her eyes or even asked if this was normal for her. When they brought our other dog, Pia, we immediately noticed she was not breathing normally and was reverse sneezing and choking which she never does. We wrote an email to Bark Avenue to talk more about their health and how long this has gone on for. We were told by them that they do daily health checks and never noticed anything wrong with the girls, which is quite strange especially when Misia's eye was very crusty, and her trainer even said it has been like that before. We were told by Bark Avenue that Pia's reverse sneezing and coughing was just because she was very excited to see us and that they have seen this before. The night Pia was home she was not breathing normally so we took her to the vet that next morning and she ended up having an upper respiratory infection. We reached back out to Bark Avenue with this information, and they do not take any blame, but it is pretty strange that two healthy dogs came home with problems. We have taken Misia here before for play time and enjoyed it, so we thought their boarding would be awesome. We were very disappointed and want to share our experience. This place may be good for bigger dogs but I DO NOT recommend someone boarding their smaller dog here because things like this should not be over looked. read more

My dog loves Bark Avenue. He goes there for Daycamp and boarding and is always so excited to go. I never worry when he's there.

I would highly recommend Bark Avenue for both training and boarding. Several months ago my husband and I adopted a shelter dog who is very sweet, but can be aggressive toward me. Without Bark Avenue and Matt's help over the last few months we would not have been able to handle our dog. Matt critically assessed our dog's behavior and my reactions. He has taught me to correct my dog's behavior humanely and effectively. I can say, without doubt, that the staff at Bark Avenue has handled my dog appropriately. My dog recently spent the weekend at Bark Avenue, and I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby there. My dog loves the play-time he gets at Bark Avenue, and he always comes back to me a very happy and healthy dog. The staff at Bark Avenue Daycamp clearly cares a lot for the dogs they work with, and my dog loves everyone there. In fact, he happily wags his tail and can't wait to greet them when we arrive at obedience training each week. read more

Highly recommend this place for daycamp and boarding! This is an hour north of our home, but we went here based on a friend's recommendation. The facility is very big and very clean. We were taken on a tour, and during the tour we were told that the dogs are out all day and allowed to run around and play in what is essentially a warehouse with a cement floor (easy clean-up!). If the weather is nice, they open the large overhead garage door to a grassy, fenced area, so the dogs can play outside. Our dog loved playing with, and sniffing, the dogs on the tour, so you can only imagine how exhausted he was from being there an entire week! I almost felt guilty taking him home to our townhome with an unfenced yard. We dropped off our dog on a Monday morning, just prior to 6:30 a.m. when they open. I was relieved that they took him early without any hassle. We paid the same price here for what we'd pay at PetSmart (a place I will only use in an emergency now). There's also a 15% off coupon on their website, so for a 5-night stay, we saved about $30. There's an additional discount (10% I think) if you are referred by someone. We had a little difficulty scheduling an appointment, the man on the phone was a bit gruff and somewhat inflexible with scheduling, but I won't change my view on the place based on that. read more

Scheduling over the phone can be a bit ruff, but phone manners aside, this place is great for active dogs! My Pointer mix pup comes home happy and sleepy. She gets excited when we drive up to the location (which is a bit off the beaten road) and cant contain her wiggling butt and tail when we walk through the doors! I was a worried mommy at first because she was only 5 months when I started her here for daycare and very excitable which some older dogs at the dog park did not like and snapped at her often...but I mentioned it once to staff and they said they will work on socializing her and it worked! Now I feel very comfortable leaving her there even with the biggest dogs! read more

I'm very happy with the service and staff at Bark Ave. My rescue (age 2) Lola was brought in for Day Camp and she "failed"(?) her assessment, saying she needed to learn manners and brought bad energy into the group. They helped me understand what was needed. Basically, Lola is high energy and a Lab, and didn't know how to play appropriately, scaring some of the other dogs which could've led to aggression among the dogs. Kelly suggested training and we've been blessed to have Ashley for private and group training. The staff have all been knowledgeable and kind. it's clear that they love dogs and Lola LOVES Ashley!! Once Ashley brought her 2 well-trained dogs in so Lola could learn how to react with other dogs! Calls are always returned promptly too. After some more training, Lola will be ready for boarding and all the day care options. I really appreciate Bark and staff, especially Ashley-always happy, always professional and kind!! read more

I wanted to write a testimonial on the training my dog Benny receives with Kelly at Bark Avenue. Benny is a rescue and we have been in training with Kelly to help him with his fear issues and build his confidence. We started with obedience 1 and have worked our way up the ladder. We have done agility and tricks. We look forward to new classes. . I'm very happy with the training we have received with Kelly. Kelly is very honest and straightforward with her training techniques. And it is fun! Kelly listens and will come up with a training plan just right for you and your dog. The bond between Benny and I has deepened thanks to the help of Kelly. I also want to commend the staff at BA. Always friendly and professional. Thank you for all you do! read more

I would put 5 stars, but they are so busy and it does take awhile to get my dog in to see the groomers. Howwever, if you plan ahead no issues there ! I cannot say enough good things about their groomer Dakota. I rescued my Shepard mix (Ohana) in August. Ohana is timid and very nervous. Dakota has built such a great relationship with Ohana.
