The olive oil here is absolutely amazing. After sampling a few, we settled on the Greek-inspired one, which had such a rich, delicious flavor. The owner was very nice and informative, taking the time to explain the different oils and making the experience even more enjoyable. It's always a bonus when you can learn something new while shopping. I also love that Tesla chargers are located at interesting spots like this--it makes charging more like an opportunity to explore. I walked in to see their cheese factory and was surprised by their different flavors of cheddar. I like dairy products but dairy products don't like me, so I didn't pick anything up this time. The petting zoo was the most intriguing to me. Most of the animals were excited to be fed while others were just hanging out in the shade. Their enclosures looked a little small for them though. There was only one rabbit who was hiding away in their little house. It looked like it could use some grass to hop around in. I wish the hand sanitizer dispensers were filled. Every single one was empty, but I eventually found the restroom to wash off. I noticed there's a dog park here too. I'm hoping I could come back here with my dog during our next road trip. I'm sure he'd enjoy this change of scenery.

Trying the bleu cheese olives at home in martini, I think they are good and delicious, but too salty. Maybe I need to dunk the olives in water to get some salt out of it to make it better. It's not often that someone just goes into the olive oil business. Usually it's passed down from…read moregeneration to generation. However, sometimes when your family has been steeped in agriculture in other ways, it takes a current generation to move things into other arenas. Enzo is a prime example of this. The Richiutti family makes olive oil from their farms, not that far from where I grew up. Of course locality is but a part of the equation. It still has to taste good. A greenish golden colour is present to the eye but the palate has a smooth richness up front followed by a peppery kick. The profile is something you'd usually not cook with and use as a finishing oil on meats and vegetables that need some balance of fat. Though I did see someone use it in an olive oil cake which may lead to some experimentation. It's just hard to part with the fresh taste of a first press olive oil straight.

I waited for my husband in the car and as soon as he hand me out the bag with chicharrón I knew its was not going to be good. The chicharrón was not hot and not close to crunchy so I told my husband to try it and see if it was good he said it was stale and a little like sour so I called them and ask about when was the chicharrón made the lady that answered the phone said it was from the previous day I told her that I was going to return it because it was not good and stale and she said yeah it was fine then she called me back saying that she spoke to the owner and the owner had said he was not going to accept the return because he tasted it this morning and it was good. I told her I was going to submit my claim with Tulare County Environmental Health department and she said it was totally fine. If you don't want to get a stomach infection please stay away from this place unless you have a good immune system and strong stomach. Even the color does not look good to even risk my health
