All I can say is the owner of the store is one of the rudest owners I have ever heard. My daughter…read morebought some scrubs here and everything was fine. She came back to purchase some items for her clinicals. She had the receipt for these two items that were never used nor opened. She was told they could be returned with a receipt and unopened. I was with her in the store when the owner spoke very rudely to my daughter and said these clearly have been opened the pass package is dented in and we do not sell items like this. I walked over to the other items on the shelf that they had hanging for sale that were exactly the same, and all these were dented in also the plastic on them when I'd let her know how rudely she was talking to my daughter she said well this one time I'll return them but they're clearly opened. I said oh so you're calling my daughter a liar. She said not one word and refunded the money. My daughter nor I will ever shop here again and I'll tell everybody who's thinking about shopping here about our experience. Even after I posted this review, the owner of the store contacted me and said they apologized that I wasn't happy, but who would be happy when they've been called a liar or dishonest and who would wanna contact them back or do business with them I don't understand. There is nothing else to discuss regardless of whether they issued a refund. It's the principle of this bad for the bad review.

Along with all of the expected inventory, Dave has some "bargain-bin items where he sells overstock items at truly incredible prices. Visit this store when you have the extra time to dig, and thoroughly look around. The owner prices items entirely on what he has to pay for his inventory. What that means is that sometimes "well worn" items may be mixed in a bin with brand new items that are actually priced lower. It's up to the buyer to do their due diligence in inspecting your purchase - which is why it's SURPLUS. Action also stocks and sells a lot of brand new clothing and gear that can be a bit pricey compared to buying the same items on-line. But if it's something you really need, then spending a few extra dollars for the privilege to inspect and try on your purchase, then it's well worth it. Many customers are there to buy for cosplay or paintball combat. My focus (and viewpoint for this review) is to purchase mil-spec quality tools and gear because it lasts many times longer than cheap Chinese crap that is sold everywhere else.

Ott joined the US Army Air Corps Army Nurse Corps in September 1941. She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, sent to Louisiana and Virginia USA then Karachi, India. As World War II progressed beginning September 1939, US Army Air Force Air Transport Command grew quickly into the world's biggest airline. Its routes circled the globe transporting passengers and cargo. That demonstrated the potential of global air evacuation of wounded GIs. World War II forced the US Army Air Corps to pioneer military medical care because of the quickly resulting development of air evacuations of wounded GIs. One of those pioneers was Flight Nurse 2nd Lieutenant Elsie S. Ott. She was on the first intercontinental air evacuation aka air ambulance flight. It originated from Karachi, India to evacuate wounded GIs directly to Walter Reed military hospital in Washington, D.C. Ott received her assignment to this historic flight with only 24 hours' notice. She had no flying experience and had never flown before. The only medical equipment available to her was a first aid kit. No medical professional screened the patients who were to fly with Ott, and she and a Sergeant with a medical background were the only people on board to care for patients. The military evacuation plane left Karachi, India with five wounded GIs 17 January 1943. Normally a three-month trip by ship, after stops along the way for refueling, the US Army Air Force plane reached Walter Reed military hospital nearly a week after beginning. This shortened time for medical care was life-saving to wounded GIs. Ott knew that her report on this first med evac trip would be crucial for further planning, and she immediately sat down to make notes for future med evac flights. She listed the need for oxygen, more wound-dressing supplies, more coffee and blankets. She also noted that her wearing a skirt was impractical for this kind of Duty. Two months later, Ott received US Air Medal, the first given to a woman in the US Army, for her role in the evacuation flight. The Air Medal is awarded to US and civilian personnel for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievements while participating in aerial flight and foreign military personnel in actual combat in support of operations. Required achievement is less than that required for the Distinguished Flying Cross, but must be accomplished with distinction above and beyond that expected of everyday Duty. It is not awarded for peace time sustained operational activities and flights. Ott was promoted to Captain. World War ended 2 September 1945. She was Honorably Discharged in 1946. Nearly 20 years later in 1965, Captain Ott was selected to christen a new type of air ambulance: the C-9 Nightingale.
