Haley, the manager at this location, used explicit sexual profanity toward customers for no…read moreapparent reason including screaming repeatedly the phrase "you want to get f***ed up the ass?" - this was in front of minors during our visit. We arrived at approximately 5:30 PM, about 30 minutes before the listed closing time of 6:00 PM on Google. As out-of-town customers unfamiliar with the process, this created confusion when we were turned away shortly after arriving. We had driven about an hour and a half as a family, including two polite teenagers, to visit this location. We had been interacting with staff since 4 PM and were shocked when we arrived to be turned away. During the very brief interaction, Haley was verbally aggressive not only toward us but also toward at least three other customers, swearing and behaving in a hostile manner for no clear reason. When we calmly tried to explain the confusion around closing time, we were told she would call the police. I think we would welcome this. Somebody needs to hold this woman accountable. Please check your security footage for the way that she behaved, you need to manage this harassment of customers. The overall experience felt highly unprofessional, intimidating, and completely unacceptable for a public-facing business. This was one of the most shocking customer service experiences we have ever had in Canada. We would not recommend this location, and we will be following up to report this thoroughly as business leaders should not be acting like this. Especially 25 minutes before closing, threatening to call security on people and telling them to leave the parking lot. We felt very threatened and unsafe. It was insanity.

Pros - Three very friendly, understanding, and helpful staff…read moremembers - Camp store located in office. Sells snacks, food, hygenie things and RV things - Office right away when you enter campground - Long office and store hours during the summer - On-site security during the summer - Most of the full-time campers are quite friendly. Cons - Two staff members who most definitely shouldn't have anything to do with jobs that require interaction with guests. - Store is over priced - When you first get to the campground you have to block the driveway and road ways to sign in because there is no where to stop until you get to your spot. - Short office and store hours during winter camping - No on-site security during the winter - The on-site security seems unreliable and unable to attend to problems or emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner. -There is a gate, but it is not used -There was a murder in the campground last year. Found out from full-timers and google. -Male staff member who looses his temper with guests and is often cursing his way through the campground. -Randomly scattered "exotic" and "farm" birds that are hardly properly taken care of. - Old, decrepid buildings - Bathrooms are constantly dirty, despite cleaning times during the day. Toilets constantly clogged - Bathrooms stalls don't have functioning doors and locks - Bathroom showers you have to pay for per amount of time but the water is on an every 20 second loop of ice hold and hot as hell. - Men are frequently in womens bathroom (this is not safe for young girls especially) - Right next to highway with highway noises - Garbage scattered around the campground - Dump station is constantly covered in urine and fecal matter - The greenery is few and far between and/or dying - Dog park filled with foxtail -Swamp surrounding campground - Kids park is not safe. Found pack of joints, countless pocket knives - Certain female staff member, constantly finished shift and joined in on other campers fires. Would be seen the next morning stumbling out of another persons trailer, hardly able to walk much less work, heading to the office to work. -The rules only apply to those who don't have an 'in' with the office staff - Constantly lets their friends have fires during fire bans Used be be a great place over 20 years ago. Whoever owns it now, is running it into the ground and milking it for what it's worth until it stops producing money. Unsafe, not clean.

Tiny sites where you trip over your neighbors sewer hose while sitting at your picnic table! Wifi didn't work at all and we were there 2 months. Laundry area was tiny, could hardly move around in there when there were other people doing laundry. Everything could use an upgrade! Will not be staying here again.
