Want to get lunch and feel like you're helping a cause? Come here!…read more I've been to On the Go Foods a few times now and I'm consistently happy and think it's a great value. You have the option of getting a salad or a sandwich. I have yet to try the salads but they make a great chicken salad sandwich and tend to stick with that. The sandwiches come with a side, a bag of chips, and a cookie -- all for $8. You really can't beat that. Heads up, the only seating they have is outside at a picnic table, so it is truly "on-the-go".

Wow! After eating their food for a second time, I could not resist reviewing this place. How would…read moreyou like a sandwich, salad, and soup shop, where everything is homemade? All the meats baked in the house, bread baked in house, cheese sliced themselves, fresh organic vegetables and such sliced by hand by loving employees. Soups, made from scratch, like your grandmother made them or something. That's what this place is. A Jewel in the Nile. Also, I believe they only hire people with developmental disabilities, so when you eat here, you are supporting a very noble cause. Twice now I have purchased the Kentucky club, thick slice home house baked turkey, thick sliced in-house baked ham, and thick sliced bacon, with thick sliced Swiss cheese and cheddar, with hyper fresh greens and fresh sliced Roma tomatoes. Did I mention they make their own bread? So all of those great ingredients stacked on in-house baked whole wheat bun. So delicious. They even make their own potato chips! And they are amazing. Oh, they also make their own cookies from scratch and they are pretty darn delicious. Here's the hard part about this place, it's practically invisible. It sits on the backside of an industrial area, and is relatively hidden for that reason. The only reason I ever heard of this place is because I went to work on their security system. The food looked so good that I bought lunch, and after going back a week later and eating there again, I can Guarantee that I will return weekly for at least one lunch, because the prices are so good and the food is so good that this place just cannot be passed up. Not to mention the great cause. Don't go expecting to sit down, it's takeout only, but everything is lovingly packaged and prepared hourly. I just cannot say enough good things about this place, I am really happy that I found it and when you find it you should be too. Please support this place as it is a wonderful little joint for a great cause.

The day of our event celebration, I had the sheer pleasure of meeting Keith, Parker and Paul and they did an outstanding job with the beautiful visual arrangement of our breakfast, lunch and happy hour and every meal was quality and extremely delicious. My heart goes out to this fine team of professionals who made our event "Spectacular"! It would be my honor if this post could be shared with the owner of Ladyfingers - Ms. Deborah Lowery, so she can hear firsthand just how wonderful her team of professionals are and the quality of top-notch customer service they deliver! Keith, Parker, and Paul arrived on time, despite the snow/ice conditions and they showed up with resilience and did not miss a beat in giving their best, making our event a first-class experience! I highly recommend this professional catering service and give them 10 STARS!

For each event, Ladyfingers has provided exceptional menus with fresh and delicious offerings. They are always on time and I have been lucky to be on the receiving end of many compliments from event attendees. For my conference in March, Ladyfingers catered both breakfast and lunch, and the galas I have used them for in the past were all formal dinner events. I would recommend them for every meal or occasion!

The Director? HA. Doesn't listen to a thing ANY of her employees have to say. Many meetings, many empty promises. If you stand for morals, and you actually care about where your money goes- this is not the place for it. Your party and event coordinators just LOVE to drink on the clock! if you ever see them after your events, they're usually a few drinks in. you have a good time so they should too, right?! Also, you donate liquor to them, they RESELL IT ALL. Thunder party happened and a manager let is slip out to the front of house that they sell all donated liquor they don't use day off. So many issues with this company, there's not enough room to share it all. Just know, this company is completely a joke. No doing any kind of correct- sincere business with them.

The meat eaters said their chicken dinner was also very tasty! Kudos to the chefs!
