Ernie's was just 8 minutes away from an estate sale we attended in Fairfield; We watched people bowl in the Alley had 3 lanes open. The Burgers were the best. Had shakes afterward and went to antique Bloomfield shops afterward.

Atmosphere, accommodation, service, food, music and amazing staff. What a great experience on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. A must stop to experience this amazing gem within a picturesque Southern Town. Thank you to the staff for helping us gain a better seat to the Cheyenne Band! Ask the bartenders to make you a great Old Fashioned. What?! Ice cream, bowling alley, lots of neon color, caring service, and music. For sure...

We stopped here after seeing a sign on the parkway in hopes that they made old fashion soda as my son really wants to try all the different styles of Coke. Sadly they don't make soda in house but so glad we made the trip! What an awesome place!! The food was good, but the atmosphere was amazing!! I would definitely recommend checking this place out! It was a tight squeeze getting my son in his wheelchair in and there are interior steps but if you enter though the ice cream parlor side, both doors open and there's no step. They do offer high chair for younger kids! Teeny tiny kitchen area behind the bar, but the food was good!

Folks, if you live in the country, particularly in the Bloomfield, Taylorsville or Bardstown area, check out this fun place! 50 cent billiards and pinball. Four bowling lanes available. Decent food available at a very reasonable price. Beer and mixed drinks offered. Also, an ice cream shop that is proudly serving Graeter's. Lots of interesting vintage decor to see. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We had a fun date night! We'll be back again to roll a few and eat another bite. Thank y'all!

What a great find! Loaded with iconic signs and posters and what nots. It even has a bowling alley! It comes complete with an old timey soda fountain with my favorite Graeter's ice cream. Ernie's serves a great cheeseburger and country fried steak sandwich among other choices. They also sell cold bottled beer and cocktails. Just a fun place to visit. The atmosphere was amazing. Recommend.

Southern Burger-homemade pimento cheese, local bacon on top of fried green tomato and Bibb lettuce. Incredible!

The Wildcats are one of the sport's most successful programs, winning eight national championships. Kentucky's eight titles rank second all-time behind UCLA's 11. In addition, at the time of writing this review, among all schools, all-time, Kentucky has: * The most NCAA Division I wins. * The highest NCAA Division I winning percentage. * The most NCAA tournament appearances. * The most NCAA tournament wins. Adolph Rupp was the only UK coach to win multiple national championships at the school. He won their first four in 1948, 1949, 1951, and 1958. Joe B. Hall (Rupp's former assistant), Rick Pitino, Tubby Smith, and John Calipari were UK's other national championship-winning coaches. They won in 1978, 1996, 1998, and 2012, respectively. I remember the Pitino, Smith, and Calipari championships because those occurred during my lifetime and when I was following college basketball. The 1996 Kentucky team blew out my beloved Tim Duncan-led Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Elite Eight, 83-63. That was only Wake's sixth Elite Eight appearance, first since 1984, and had the Deacs won, they would have returned to the Final Four for the first time since their lone appearance in 1962. Tubby Smith, the coach of the 1998 Kentucky team, played college basketball at High Point University (then High Point College) in my hometown of High Point, North Carolina. Since 2018, Tubby has been the head coach at High Point. Not much needs to be said about Coach Cal as he is one of the preeminent college basketball coaches today. He's become a fixture at the NBA Draft because Kentucky, like the aforementioned blue bloods, simply reload, year after year, with five-star recruits. Many eventually make their way into the NBA. At the start of the latest NBA season (2020-21), Kentucky led all schools with the most number of former players, 31, on opening-night rosters. Duke was next with 26. One game I would like to humbly point out is from December 6, 2020. My alma mater, Georgia Tech, defeated Kentucky (ranked No. 20 at the time), 79-62: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/game?gameId=401255627. :)
