My friends and I booked the Mega Quest and Mega Ziplines for the same day…read more It's a pretty crazy experience to just walk inside such a huge cave and see these obstacle ropes courses. There are lockers available on site to store valuables. It costs $1 for each instance and you need cash. There is a machine to turn $1 and $5 into quarters. We did the Mega Quest first, which was shockingly a huge workout. The employees were cheerful, helpful and explained everything clearly. We worked up a crazy sweat and rested in time for our Mega Ziplines tour. We got Keegyn and Bethany, who were absolutely amazing. We were in GREAT hands! I'm actually terrified of heights but I was very proud of myself for getting through each zip line and keeping my eyes open! The Mega Ziplines course does have options for people to leave if they are too scared/anxious, but there IS a point of no return eventually. This was one hell of a way to spend a day out in some caves. Highly recommend.

Great professional staff and safety is their #1 priority. Located right in the city, just a short drive to get there. This is the most open cavern I have ever been in and you almost feel like you are in a dark warehouse, it's so big! No "tight" spaces of any kind. Heights might be your issue if that is a concern. If you have any climbing, repelling, spelunking, or exploring experience, this is a "walk in the park" for you. No experience is needed and they take care of everything. All you have to do is zip when you're told. Have fun! Shoutout to Bethany M., an excellent staff member.

Our tour guide was local and had actually lived in the area near many of the homes we visited, which I thought made the tour more interesting. She also told us about some upcoming television shows that will be featuring a few of the locations, so I'll definitely be watching for those! I really enjoyed the storytelling, although I'll admit I was a little skeptical of some of the stories. There were so many details told from such a specific perspective that I kept thinking, How exactly do we know that happened? Were you there?! It definitely made me want to look up some of the stories afterward and learn more about the history behind them. One thing I would have really liked is the opportunity to actually go inside some of the locations. Unfortunately, we stayed outside the entire time. I would absolutely pay extra for a tour that included access to the interiors of some of these historic homes. I booked through TripAdvisor, and the process was super easy. Overall, it was fun, entertaining, and a great way to spend an evening learning about some of Louisville's spooky history.
