Located in the historic El Mercat neighborhood and within proximity to iconic landmarks such as the Central Market (Mercado Central) and La Lonja de la Seda, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From the street it looks small but there are 3 levels to the restaurant.
We enjoyed this place so much we came back twice. They had tapas sized dishes along with full on dinner sized plates. The prices were also very reasonable.
We particularly enjoyed the Boquerones en vinagre / Anchovies in vinegar seasoned with Mery sauce and homemade potatoes chips 7,80 €. The Boquerones are my fave type of Spanish sardines. They are not salty and the vinegar helps to cut through the richness of the sardines. Perfect with a glass of Cava.
The Calamar plancha / Grilled squid 19,50 € were extremely tender and with great flavors.
Of course we had to have the Jamón 100% Ibérico (Solaz) / Iberian acorn-fed ham 20,50 €. Soooo good!
Ivan the owner was super friendly and accommodating. He definitely added a lot to our experience.
