Would not see my 81 year old mother with Stage 4 cancer once she was there unless she paid a $75 fee for a 'missed' appt up front. They said her last appt was not cancelled on time. We did cancel the appt and the office did not get the message. Disgusted!!!

She has never tested me for a fungal issue diagnosed by my lung doctor a few years ago via a Blood test. He referred me to an infectious disease doctor who never treated me since the medication was very strong and could damage my kidney. Many months after a near death experience in 2023/2024, I was still feeling pain in my liver. Dr Passalaqua was recommended and when I told her my disease doctor said my discomfort and pain would subside, she yelled at me to say "Who told you that I shouldn't experience any pain, she said it should/ could take a year and a half to heal since my abscesses were so bad and I was days from dying. Now I am sick again and exhausted all tests available and when she came in the room she yelled that my fungal issues from a few years ago were resolved. I was Never retested, so her aggressive attitude was not warranted. She continued to be condescending and when I tried to explain my symptoms and tests to date she kept shutting me down. I aggressively through her out of my room and asked her not to return! Also when I called her answering service last evening asking to speak to the on call doctor, which I understand she is the only doctor in her office for, her office staff disguised her self as Dr Passalaqua. Her voice was the same as the office girl who said an August 6th was the soonest appointment. It was unacceptable because I have been battling symptoms since April 30. Time is of the essence and I am my only advocate. Needless to say I will never return or recommend Dr Passalaqua ever again. I called my former disease specialist and they order blood test as that is how it was diagnosed back in 2023. She wanted to do a sputum test. She was NOT listening to my requests or concerns!! A horrible experience despite her 30 years of experience told to me by the attending ER doctor.

Upon arriving the woman at the front desk rudely informed me that they don't see 2 year olds. Something that I should have been made aware of when scheduling my appointment. After telling her that we have brought him to docs urgent care before she RUDLEY told me that she just works for the company. I understand that policy's change but for starters I should have never been able to book an appointment given that they don't see children under 5. I also would have appreciated the woman not being extremely rude and at the very least showing some empathy that my very sick son couldn't be seen and AT LEAST try to suggest another place. Terrible, terrible office experience. If you don't like your job as front desk staff - FIND SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!

She paid for an uber from campus, checked in and waited in the waiting room for over 45 mins. When she approached the desk to check on wait times, she was told "Oh, we don't take your insurance anymore. We'll cancel your copay. You can just leave." This very sick young woman left in tears. Unacceptable to let her sit right in front of you for almost an hour and not tell her she could not be seen. Outrageous, callous front desk behavior. Strongly suggest you go somewhere else.

When I called, I was informed by what must be one of the rudest medical office receptionists on the East Coast that I could not make an appointment because they only accept referrals. I explained that I had been referred by the St. Vincent ED. She said she had no referral for me. I asked what I should do because my discharge instructions clearly said to see the doctor. She said that was my problem, and there was nothing she would do. Okay. I will find another doctor and consider myself lucky not to see this practice.

For the 15 years I've been seeing him he turned me away after I told the office my heart felt it was racing (I've had hypertension forever) and all over a billing error. Where are his morals?? I couldn't be more discouraged that a health care provider who knew anything and everything about me for so many years could care less for my health than the rediculous 100.00 that would be nothing to pay (if it was owed).
