The chilis and jalapeños on the chicken provided a savoury , flavourful contrast to the sweetness of the soy sauce, and wasn't too spicy. I like that they added some rice sticks to the chicken.

The sauce is sweet with a bit of heat but too sweet for my taste & too much of it. The poutine was a good amount of cheese & gravy but the fries were undercooked. The bubble tea was not good. All powder & the pearls tasted stale. The service sadly was not good. The one man who was there was very nice & polite so this isn't his fault but he was the only one there. There was one customer eating when I went in, then after ordering a couple came in, then a group of 3. I waited just over 15 minutes. It would have been nice to sip on the bubble tea while I waited but you can't have one person taking phone orders, counter orders, cooking, & making bubble teas & not have something suffer. I don't know if they're short staffed or someone is just cheap but there should have been another person there. I would go back & try it again with a different sauce & maybe ask for it on the side. A last note, their website would not open on both my iPhone & iPad.

It looked small from the outside and looked even smaller when you walked in, only one small counter and one cashier for you to order; definitely not like some massive multicashier fast food places. The employees were keen and friendly; my sundaes came out super fast; may be because I was the only patron inside this afternoon; :-). I challenged the staffs with 2 for 1 coupon, it took some work but they got it into the system with a smile. I really like the fact that no one complained about my use of a coupon. Once I got my food I took a casual stroll, the place is bigger than it looked from the outside, there are two separate sitting areas separated by the entrance way. The larger area is hidden from street view because it is behind the entrance way; it looks like the restaurant has about 16 tables and can seat about 50 people. May be a tad smaller than a standard fast food restaurant but is big enough for a DQ. Forget about coming as a big group, the biggest booth is for 4. I enjoyed my sundae, I really appreciate that a new "clean" restaurant is born. I know people in the area will definitely enjoy it when the summer comes.

We decided to try this place to celebrate International Women's Day. The reason why it looses a star, is that it is pretty fast foodish looking inside. I would say Nando's is nicer on the inside. I also disliked that there is a board that you need to go upfront to, which is not what I think is relaxing. The server though seemed friendly enough. Menu is fairly similar to Nando's (focusing on Portuguese roasted chicken) but also had some other meats which I was interested in. I decided on the Bacalaus de nata - a combination of flaky Salted Codfish served in mixture of cream, potatoes, and onion, then topped with cheese and baked in the oven. My husband went with the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and our daughter went with the two piece chicken with fries. Food was good. I really loved my dish. I have to say though, I sampled my daughter's chicken and found that Nando's chicken was juicier and tastier. My husband also was pleased with his sandwich. I had a glass of wine, which was nice and affordable. If you like chicken solely, I would say stick to Nando's. If you want some other meats to try, check this place out.

Each appetizer only came with one piece, so they were quite expensive (the picture of the cod fritters on the menu shows six pieces). The shrimp patty was crisp and tasty, but the cod fritter didn't contain much fish. The quinoa bowl was flavourful- the chicken was nicely cooked and the sauce added a nice heat. I like that I could choose five toppings. For some reason, my bowl contained sausage (I did not order this). Although the bowl was good, it was a bit small for the price point.

My husband and I wanted to watch a particular NCAA football game and they were quick to accommodate. We had a friendly waitress and quick service. I will say it wasn't very busy although picking up as we were leaving. We ordered the Detroit style pizza. We will say it's good pizza and would eat it again, but not quite true Detroit style, but I'm sure the same could be said about poutine in the States. If I need a convenient place to grab a drink or pub style food I will not hesitate to try again. I see they also have a split happy hour. Open -5 and 9-close. Good to know!

For the first round, you get side choices like salad, veggies, fries, yam fries, onion rings, and nachos. From the second round on, additional sides cost $1.99 each. The sides were fine; the regular fries and yam fries were good. But the wings were disappointing, especially the boneless chicken, which was way tooooooo salty to taste the flavor we picked. The regular wings and dusted wings were too dry. By the third round, you only get four wings each time until you finish. After eating the wings that night, I had stomach issues and indigestion, as that was the only meal I had that day. As for the sauces, their Louise 92 is probably the best. I also tried the SOS sauce, which wasn't very spicy but still good. I ordered beers but was told there was no Bud Light or Budweiser, so I got lemonade cocktails in four flavors. They tasted like water with little vodka or flavor. The only flavor I could taste was "Peach," which actually tasted like lychee. It wasn't a busy night, and the service was alright but quite slow. The waiter was nice and friendly. The music was fine, not too loud or too quiet, which was good. But sorry, overall, the wings were not good.
